In VLSI world, the design of area and power efficient high speed logic data paths has always been a hot topic of research. Carry Select Adder (CSLA) is one of the fastest adders used in many processors for performing fast arithmetic functions. The objective of the project is to develop a synthesizable CSLA model by making use of use of a simple and efficient gate-level modification. Modified design was compared for area, power and speed with the existing regular CSLA architecture. The performance evaluation and subsequent comparison have been done using VHDL programming and the synthesizing tool used was Xilinx 13.1v.

Forecasting the commercial Chisawasawa(Lethrinopsspp.) fishery in Lake MalaŵiIJESM JOURNAL
We developed a time series modelto forecast Lethrinopsspp(locally known as Chisawasawa) for the commercial fishery based on data on Lake Malaŵi fish catch during years from 1976 to 2010. Weconsidered Autoregressive (AR), Moving Average (MA) and Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) processes to select the appropriate stochastic models for forecasting annual commercial Chisawasawa catch from Lake Malaŵi. Based on ARIMA (p, d, q) and its components autocorrelation function (ACF), partial autocorrelation function (PACF), Normalized Bayesian Information Criterion (NBIC), Box-Ljung Q statistics and residuals estimated, ARI (1, 1) was selected as the best model for forecasting annual commercial Chisawasawa catches. We forecast that the commercial Chisawasawa catch would increase to about 1788 tons in 2020from about 785 in 2010. The confidence intervals for the forecasts include zero, which means that we fail to reject the null hypothesis that the fishery has collapsed. This fishery needs urgent attention. We recommend that these models should be developed for other fisheries in Lake Malaŵi

Robust Exponential Stabilization for a Class of Uncertain Systems via a Singl...ijtsrd
In this paper, the robust stabilization for a class of uncertain chaotic or non chaotic systems with single input is investigated. Based on Lyapunov like Theorem with differential and integral inequalities, a simple linear control is developed to realize the global exponential stabilization of such uncertain systems. In addition, the guaranteed exponential convergence rate can be correctly estimated. Finally, some numerical simulations with circuit realization are provided to show the effectiveness of the obtained result. Application of Exponential Gamma Distribution in Modeling Queuing Dataijtsrd
There are many events in daily life where a queue is formed. Queuing theory is the study of waiting lines and it is very crucial in analyzing the procedure of queuing in daily life of human being. Queuing theory applies not only in day to day life but also in sequence of computer programming, networks, medical field, banking sectors etc. Researchers have applied many statistical distributions in analyzing a queuing data. In this study, we apply a new distribution named Exponential Gamma distribution in fitting a data on waiting time of bank customers before service is been rendered. We compared the adequacy and performance of the results with other existing statistical distributions. Each year it has become more and more difficult for healthcare providers to determine if a patient has a pathology
related to the vertebral column. There is great potential to become more efficient and effective in terms of quality
of care provided to patients through the use of automated systems. However, in many cases automated systems
can allow for misclassification and force providers to have to review more causes than necessary. In this study, we
analyzed methods to increase the True Positives and lower the False Positives while comparing them against stateof-the-art
techniques in the biomedical community. We found that by applying the studied techniques of a data-driven
model, the benefits to healthcare providers are significant and align with the methodologies and techniques utilized

This paper mainly aims to estimate the unknown parameters included in three independent competing risks in the presence of "complete observations", "incomplete observations" and Type-II censoring. Analyzing data is established from some of Weibull models with consideration mainly that there are three independent causes of failure. The case when the competing risks (three causes) have Weibull distribution with two parameters, exponentiated Weibull distribution and Rayleigh distribution is considered. The maximum likelihood estimators of the different parameters and their relative risks are obtained. Properties of the estimated values have been studied through a simulation study.

CLUSTERING DICHOTOMOUS DATA FOR HEALTH CAREijistjournal
Dichotomous data is a type of categorical data, which is binary with categories zero and one. Health care data is one of the heavily used categorical data. Binary data are the simplest form of data used for heath care databases in which close ended questions can be used; it is very efficient based on computational efficiency and memory capacity to represent categorical type data. Clustering health care or medical data is very tedious due to its complex data representation models, high dimensionality and data sparsity. In this paper, clustering is performed after transforming the dichotomous data into real by wiener transformation. The proposed algorithm can be usable for determining the correlation of the health disorders and symptoms observed in large medical and health binary databases. Computational results show that the clustering based on Wiener transformation is very efficient in terms of objectivity and subjectivity.
A New Extraction Optimization Approach to Frequent 2 Item setsijcsa
In this paper, we propose a new optimization approach to the APRIORI reference algorithm (AGR 94) for 2-itemsets (sets of cardinal 2). The approach used is based on two-item sets. We start by calculating the 1- itemets supports (cardinal 1 sets), then we prune the 1-itemsets not frequent and keep only those that are frequent (ie those with the item sets whose values are greater than or equal to a fixed minimum threshold). During the second iteration, we sort the frequent 1-itemsets in descending order of their respective supports and then we form the 2-itemsets. In this way the rules of association are discovered more quickly. Experimentally, the comparison of our algorithm OPTI2I with APRIORI, PASCAL, CLOSE and MAXMINER, shows its efficiency on weakly correlated data. Our work has also led to a classical model of sideby-side classification of items that we have obtained by establishing a relationship between the different sets of 2-itemsets.

BER Performance Analysis of Open and Closed Loop Power Control in LTEIJESM JOURNAL
The power control (PC) policy in Long Term Evolution (LTE) network is important issue, the interference of cell user to neighbour cell is consider to avoid any annoying to close cells. In this paper the two uplink PC scheme close loop power control (CLPC) and open loop power control (OLPC) are modelled in order to investigate the effects of Mobile cell edge to another cell and show how to adjust the user power according to two path losses. The algorithms were simulated by using MATLAB program. The open loop technique considered that the strongest interference is caused by mobile to neighbour cell, while the power control components is adjusted continuously in the close loop technique . The effects of CLPC and OLPC are shown in term of throughput, path loss, power spectrum density (PSD) and the bit error rate (BER). Results shows that the CLPC is outperform the OLPC in term of throughput, PSD and path loss; while they are perform similarly in term of BER.

A REVIEW OF MATHEMATICAL MODELS FOR SUPPLY CHAIN NETWORK DESIGNAM Publications
Supply chain networks have emerged as the back bones of economic activities in the modern world. The growing number of papers and books on this topic is a further witness of this fact. To foster insight into issues intertwined with supply chain network design problems; this paper is devoted to an extensive review of mathematical programming models in this context. To achieve this, a systematic review approach is followed over the period 2002–2016. As a main goal, the gaps of literature are analyzed to recommend possible research directions. The analysis revealed that reversible supply chain network design and closed loop supply chain network design still require further attention from researchers.
Analysis and overview of Flooding Attack in Optimized link State Routing prot...IJESM JOURNAL
During this last decade, mesh networks have experienced strong growth due to their ability to provide an additional and complementary support for existing infrastructure communication systems. In such a network, routers are supposed to be fixed for short (e.g. public safety deployment) or long (e.g. network operator extension) period. This relative stability of infrastructure makes proactive routing protocols appropriate. One of the well known proactive routing protocols is OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing), which routing decisions are based on exchanges of topology information using all-to-all flooding of local information in order for each router to build a global knowledge of the topology. This study first goal is to improve the performance of topology information flooding in OLSR by introducing network coding techniques, which leads to a decrease of signaling overhead.

Enhancing the performance of cluster based text summarization using support v...eSAT Journals
Abstract Technology is evolving day by day and this increase in technology is nothing but is the efforts to reduce human work and to have systems as automatic as possible. Same thing is true in terms of existence of digital information. Due to enormous increase in the use of internet, there is striking increase in the digital information. This digital information is characterized by different form of information, same information in different form, unrelated information and also there is lot of redundant information. Another next important thing to note is that most of the time we require textual information. To search or retrieve small information one has to go through thousands of documents, read all the retrieved documents irrespective whether they contain useful information or no. It becomes very difficult to read all the retrieved documents and prepare exact summary out of it within time. Besides this, many times retrieved information is repeated in almost many documents. This leads to research in the area of text mining. Text summarization is one of the challenging tasks in the field of text mining. Keywords: Entropy, FCM, Purity, SVM

Analysis, verification and fpga implementation of low power multipliereSAT Journals
Abstract As the scale of integration keeps growing, more and more sophisticated signal processing systems are being implemented on a VLSI chip. These signal processing applications not only demand great computation capacity but also consume considerable amounts of energy. While performance and area remain to be two major design goals, power consumption has become a critical concern in today’s VLSI system design. Multiplication is a fundamental operation in most arithmetic computing systems. Multipliers have large area, long latency and consume considerable power. Previous work on low-power multipliers focuses on low-level optimizations and has not considered well the arithmetic computation features and application-specific data characteristics. Binary multiplier is an integral part of the arithmetic logic unit (ALU) subsystem found in many processors. Booth's algorithm and others like Wallace-Tree suggest techniques for multiplying signed numbers that works equally well for both negative and positive multipliers. In this paper, we have used VHDL for describing and verifying a hardware design based on Booth's and some other efficient algorithms. Timing and correctness properties were verified. Instead of writing Test-Benches & Test-Cases we used Wave-Form Analyzer which can give a better understanding of Signals & variables and also proved a good choice for simulation of design. The glacier study is important in the sense that it has a very direct relation with climate change. Any change in the climate can be read through glacier response. A number of Himalayan glaciers are reported to be shrinking. The retreat of Chipa glacier and Jhulang glacier in Dhauliganga valley was studied by interpreting time series optical satellite images obtained from Landsat, ASTER and IRS LISS III sensors. The change of terminus position was measured and retreat was monitored with respect to the terminus position in a topographical map (1:50,000) of 1962. The satellite data of 1989 and from 2000 to 2004 and 2012 were used for monitoring the retreat of the glacier and the result was compared with the field measured values.

DIFFERENTIAL OPERATORS AND STABILITY ANALYSIS OF THE WAGE FUNCTIONIJESM JOURNAL
In this paper, a differential operator has been used to solve the wage equation. The subsequent wage function is analyzed and interpreted for stability. The equation incorporates speculative parameters operating in free range. The variations of these parameters have caused stability and instability of the wage function in certain circumstances. Where the wage function is exponential, asymptotic stability towards the equilibrium wage rate is observed but where it consists of both exponential and periodic factors, the time path shows periodic fluctuations with successive cycles giving smaller amplitudes until the ripples dies naturally. It is also observed that though differential operator is just as effective as variation of parameters demonstrated in [6], it is rather simple and fast with limited algebra.

SUPPLIER SELECTION AND EVALUATION – AN INTEGRATED APPROACH OF QFD & AHPIJESM JOURNAL
In current scenario strong competitive pressure forces several organizations to available their products and services, cheaper, faster and improved than the rivals to their valuable customer. Managers have come to comprehend that they cannot do it individually without suitable vendors. Supply Chain Management empower the flows of material, information and funds in a association consisting of customers, suppliers, manufacturers and distributors, which beings raw materials, maintain by internal operations complete with distribution of finished goods. In the continually changing world, assortment of appropriate vender is facilitating in supply chain management, selection of right vendor is extremely useful part of purchasing department. This paper seeks to propose a methodology to integrate the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) for right supplier selection and evaluation and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) analysis to enhance the effectiveness of outsourcing decisions. A selection that combines the subjective factors and objective factors and attitude of the decision maker decide the best supplier in the supply chain management system. The proposed integrated model could be used for supplier selection, which involves several quantitative and qualitative factors. Also could be used to determining the optimum order quantity. The propose method is a group decision making approach which shadows the traditional approaches of supplier selection.

Neither additivity nor idempotence of the closure function need to be assumed.
MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF POWER OUTPUT IN A WIND ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEMIJESM JOURNAL
The developments of wind energy systems have enabled an efficient production and use of wind energy. Three widely used control schemes for wind energy systems are Pitch control, Rotor resistance control and Vector control. A traditional wind energy system consists of a stall regulated or pitch control turbine connected to a synchronous generator through gearbox. The synchronous generator operates at fixed speed and one of the earliest rotor control schemes was the rotor resistance control. The speed of an induction machine is controlled by the external resistance in the rotor circuit. The drawback of the above methods is the inability of wind turbine to capture at low wind speeds. This paper develops a model which maximizes wind energy output. This model asses the effects of friction coefficient and the height of wind above ground(given by the height of turbine from the ground i. e the hub height) on power output. The study considers an already existing model, that is the turbine model in which the study incorporates height and friction coefficient. The three methods used in wind energy systems and the output variations for the different control techniques for a change in the input wind velocity and a constant desired power output reference are compared and the methods evaluated based on the response time and the magnitude of change in the power output compared to the desired power output and also compared by simulation. The results of this study may be useful in aiding in the efficient production of electricity in a wind energy conversion system.
INTRODUCING AN INTEGRATING FACTOR IN STUDYING THE WAGE EQUATIONIJESM JOURNAL
In this paper a first order wage equation is solved by the method of integrating factor. The subsequent wage function is then analyzed and interpreted for stability. The function could initially stand off the equilibrium wage rate but in the long run, it asymptotically stabilizes in inter temporal sense. It is observed that use of an integrating factor in solving the wage equation is just as effective as Laplace transforms demonstrated in [6] but with an advantage of being simple with limited algebra.

ANALYTICAL STUDY OF WAVE MOTION OF A FALLING LIQUID FILM PAST A VERTICAL PLATEIJESM JOURNAL
In this article, the existence of gravity-capillary waves travelling down the surface of a falling liquid film past a vertical plate has been considered. Kapitza’s scheme of finding an approximate expression of velocity u when the film surface assumes an arbitrary shape y = h(x, t), which changes with time, has been emphasized. The expressions for dimensionless wavelength, dimensionless wave number and Weber number have been obtained and are computed for an admissible range of the wave celerity. The stream line pattern has also been studied and presented through graphs.
APPLICATION OF THE METHOD OF VARIATION OF PARAMETERS: MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR ...IJESM JOURNAL
In this paper, a second order wage equation is developed and solved by the method of variation of parameters. The subsequent wage function is then analyzed and interpreted for stability. Speculative parameters, which operate freely dictating employers’ expectations, are included in modeling this equation. The variation of these parameters causes both stability and instability of the wage function depending on circumstances. Where the wage function is exponential, asymptotic stability towards the equilibrium wage rate is observed but where it consists of both exponential and periodic factors, the time path shows periodic fluctuations with successive cycles giving smaller amplitudes until the ripples die naturally. It has been realized that where the wage rate is determined by free market forces of demand and supply, volatility in wage rate may be observed if not controlled. This may increase uncertainties and cause anxiety about investment and employment in the economy. The paper therefore proposes government intervention by creating a middle path in which wage rate is allowed to oscillate freely within a narrow band managed by employers in consultation with the workers under the watch of the government.
Ab Initio Study of Pressure Induced Structural, Magnetic and Electronic Prope...IJESM JOURNAL
We have investigated the pressure induced structural and electronic properties of plutonium pnictides (PuY, Y= P, As, Sb). The total energy as a function of volume is obtained by means of self-consistent tight binding linear muffin-in-orbital (TB-LMTO) method within the local spin density approximation (LSDA). From present study with the help of total energy calculations (spin polarized) it is found that PuP, PuAs and PuSb are stable in NaCl – type structure under ambient pressure. The structural stability of PuP, PuAs and PuSb changes under the application of pressure. We predict a structural phase transition from NaCl-type (B1-phase) to CsCl-type (B2-phase) structure for these Pu-pnictides in the pressure range of 20.8 – 42.0 GPa. We also calculate the lattice parameter, bulk modulus, band structure and density of states. From energy band diagram it is observed that all the three compounds exhibit metallic behaviour. The calculated equilibrium lattice parameters and bulk modulus are in good agreement with available experimental data.

Online aptitude test management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
The purpose of on-line aptitude test system is to take online test in an efficient manner and no time wasting for checking the paper. The main objective of on-line aptitude test system is to efficiently evaluate the candidate thoroughly through a fully automated system that not only saves lot of time but also gives fast results. For students they give papers according to their convenience and time and there is no need of using extra thing like paper, pen etc. This can be used in educational institutions as well as in corporate world. Can be used anywhere any time as it is a web based application (user Location doesn’t matter). No restriction that examiner has to be present when the candidate takes the test.
Every time when lecturers/professors need to conduct examinations they have to sit down think about the questions and then create a whole new set of questions for each and every exam. In some cases the professor may want to give an open book online exam that is the student can take the exam any time anywhere, but the student might have to answer the questions in a limited time period. The professor may want to change the sequence of questions for every student. The problem that a student has is whenever a date for the exam is declared the student has to take it and there is no way he can take it at some other time. This project will create an interface for the examiner to create and store questions in a repository. It will also create an interface for the student to take examinations at his convenience and the questions and/or exams may be timed. Thereby creating an application which can be used by examiners and examinee’s simultaneously.
Examination System is very useful for Teachers/Professors. As in the teaching profession, you are responsible for writing question papers. In the conventional method, you write the question paper on paper, keep question papers separate from answers and all this information you have to keep in a locker to avoid unauthorized access. Using the Examination System you can create a question paper and everything will be written to a single exam file in encrypted format. You can set the General and Administrator password to avoid unauthorized access to your question paper. Every time you start the examination, the program shuffles all the questions and selects them randomly from the database, which reduces the chances of memorizing the questions.
