Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

AMCOW AFRICA’s Groundwater DVELOPMENT Programme: For Water Security and Resilience in Africa
1. AMCOW AFRICA’S GROUNDWATER
DVELOPMENT PROGRAMME:
For Water Security and Resilience
in Africa
Moshood N. TIJANI,
AMCOW, Senior Policy Officer, WRM
Africa’s groundwater
development program
2. Groundwater resources are unevenly distributed
across the continent and comprises the largest
freshwater resource in Africa
For 50% of the total population in SSA primary
source of drinking water comes from
groundwater point sources
For 8 out of 10 people live in rural communities,
access to safe WASH come from groundwater
For increasing informal urban settlements, there
are increasing reliance on groundwater
In the face of challenges of rainfed agriculture due
climate change, groundwater matters for Food
Security.
