This document evaluates an alternative farm plan for a farmer with 1.5 hectares of land. Currently, the farmer grows paddy in the kharif season but leaves the land fallow in the rabi season. The summary suggests:
1. Improving practices like seed treatment, balanced fertilizer application, and correct spacing to increase paddy yields from 32 quintals/hectare to 48 quintals/hectare.
2. Partial budgeting shows the improved plan would cost Rs. 1819 more but increase returns by Rs. 12,581 per hectare, giving a benefit-cost ratio of 1.
3. The improved plan is practical for the farmer as most practices require no
TRANSFORMATION TRENDS IN AGRICULTURE VIS-À-VIS AGRIBUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

Agriculture is undergoing a huge transformation. In the past, agriculture was seen as a subsistence activity of farmers involving crop and livestock production. Today, agriculture has transformed as technology and market-oriented industry which extends from agricultural production to sophisticated agri-science, and agribusiness.Agricultural transformation is defined as a process that leads to higher productivity farms that are commercially oriented, which strengthens the link between farming and other sectors of the economy. The experience of the evolution of the agricultural sector over centuries tells us that the sector has evolved from being a basic food-gathering activity to an intensive production system due to population growth, increase in income, urbanization, technological revolution, and liberalization of international trade. The agricultural sector has tremendous potential for expansion of employment opportunities and consequently mitigating the levels of rural poverty. Agricultural transformation coupled with forward and backward linkages with industry is an emerging phenomenon (Chengappa, 2004). Achieving high growth is important. But, growth without inclusiveness and sustainability will not be useful. Agriculture transformation has to be viewed more holistically in terms of rural transformation and urban linkages. Hence there is a need to give a big push for Indian agriculture for transformation that helps in realizing farmers’ welfare.

This video was obtained back in 2014 by JP Merlano on behalf of WildCard Investigations, Inc., based in trendy South Beach. Here you see Assistant Coach for the Miami Heat with a questionable female inside his Mercedes in a clandestine parking lot in Bank of America in Brickell. Prior to meeting with the "questionable female" he was speaking with a blonde at Starbucks. Juwan finally met with his wife later that day to go shopping.. What's up with the Nike or Air Jordans at U.P.S. Anyways, if you want to see the video, go to You Tube and look for JP Merlano. Enjoy and God Bless America.
Alternatív splicing változások elemzése rákgenom projektekben
Sebestyén Endre - Computational Genomics, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Dr. Aiguader 88, E08003 Barcelona, Spain

Financial Assets: Debit vs Equity Securities.pptxWrito-Finance
financial assets represent claim for future benefit or cash. Financial assets are formed by establishing contracts between participants. These financial assets are used for collection of huge amounts of money for business purposes.
Two major Types: Debt Securities and Equity Securities.
Debt Securities are Also known as fixed-income securities or instruments. The type of assets is formed by establishing contracts between investor and issuer of the asset.
• The first type of Debit securities is BONDS. Bonds are issued by corporations and government (both local and national government).
• The second important type of Debit security is NOTES. Apart from similarities associated with notes and bonds, notes have shorter term maturity.
• The 3rd important type of Debit security is TRESURY BILLS. These securities have short-term ranging from three months, six months, and one year. Issuer of such securities are governments.
• Above discussed debit securities are mostly issued by governments and corporations. CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSITS CDs are issued by Banks and Financial Institutions. Risk factor associated with CDs gets reduced when issued by reputable institutions or Banks.
Following are the risk attached with debt securities: Credit risk, interest rate risk and currency risk
There are no fixed maturity dates in such securities, and asset’s value is determined by company’s performance. There are two major types of equity securities: common stock and preferred stock.
Common Stock: These are simple equity securities and bear no complexities which the preferred stock bears. Holders of such securities or instrument have the voting rights when it comes to select the company’s board of director or the business decisions to be made.
Preferred Stock: Preferred stocks are sometime referred to as hybrid securities, because it contains elements of both debit security and equity security. Preferred stock confers ownership rights to security holder that is why it is equity instrument
Equity securities as a whole is used for capital funding for companies. Companies have multiple expenses to cover. Potential growth of company is required in competitive market. So, these securities are used for capital generation, and then uses it for company’s growth.
Concluding remarks
Both are employed in business. Businesses are often established through debit securities, then what is the need for equity securities. Companies have to cover multiple expenses and expansion of business. They can also use equity instruments for repayment of debits. So, there are multiple uses for securities. As an investor, you need tools for analysis. Investment decisions are made by carefully analyzing the market. For better analysis of the stock market, investors often employ financial analysis of companies.
how can I sell pi coins after successfully completing KYCDOT TECH
Pi coins is not launched yet in any exchange 💱 this means it's not swappable, the current pi displaying on coin market cap is the iou version of pi. And you can learn all about that on my previous post.
RIGHT NOW THE ONLY WAY you can sell pi coins is through verified pi merchants. A pi merchant is someone who buys pi coins and resell them to exchanges and crypto whales. Looking forward to hold massive quantities of pi coins before the mainnet launch.
This is because pi network is not doing any pre-sale or ico offerings, the only way to get my coins is from buying from miners. So a merchant facilitates the transactions between the miners and these exchanges holding pi.
I and my friends has sold more than 6000 pi coins successfully with this method. I will be happy to share the contact of my personal pi merchant. The one i trade with, if you have your own merchant you can trade with them. For those who are new.
Message: @Pi_vendor_247 on telegram.
I wouldn't advise you selling all percentage of the pi coins. Leave at least a before so its a win win during open mainnet. Have a nice day pioneers ♥️

US Economic Outlook - Being Decided - M Capital Group August 2021.pdfpchutichetpong
The U.S. economy is continuing its impressive recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and not slowing down despite re-occurring bumps. The U.S. savings rate reached its highest ever recorded level at 34% in April 2020 and Americans seem ready to spend. The sectors that had been hurt the most by the pandemic specifically reduced consumer spending, like retail, leisure, hospitality, and travel, are now experiencing massive growth in revenue and job openings.
Could this growth lead to a “Roaring Twenties”? As quickly as the U.S. economy contracted, experiencing a 9.1% drop in economic output relative to the business cycle in Q2 2020, the largest in recorded history, it has rebounded beyond expectations. This surprising growth seems to be fueled by the U.S. government’s aggressive fiscal and monetary policies, and an increase in consumer spending as mobility restrictions are lifted. Unemployment rates between June 2020 and June 2021 decreased by 5.2%, while the demand for labor is increasing, coupled with increasing wages to incentivize Americans to rejoin the labor force. Schools and businesses are expected to fully reopen soon. In parallel, vaccination rates across the country and the world continue to rise, with full vaccination rates of 50% and 14.8% respectively.
However, it is not completely smooth sailing from here. According to M Capital Group, the main risks that threaten the continued growth of the U.S. economy are inflation, unsettled trade relations, and another wave of Covid-19 mutations that could shut down the world again. Have we learned from the past year of COVID-19 and adapted our economy accordingly?
“In order for the U.S. economy to continue growing, whether there is another wave or not, the U.S. needs to focus on diversifying supply chains, supporting business investment, and maintaining consumer spending,” says Grace Feeley, a research analyst at M Capital Group.
While the economic indicators are positive, the risks are coming closer to manifesting and threatening such growth. The new variants spreading throughout the world, Delta, Lambda, and Gamma, are vaccine-resistant and muddy the predictions made about the economy and health of the country. These variants bring back the feeling of uncertainty that has wreaked havoc not only on the stock market but the mindset of people around the world. MCG provides unique insight on how to mitigate these risks to possibly ensure a bright economic future.

1. Alternative farm plan
1. Evaluating the existing farm situation:
A) Resource position:
I) Land
• The total land holding of the farmer is 2.0 ha and cultivated
land is 1.5 ha. The land is medium land .
• Paddy is grown in kharif season and he leaves the land fallow
in Rabi season.
• Irrigation is not a constraint for the farmer.
• The soils are clay loam and sandy loam with medium fertility.
• Land is well levelled. Drainage is normal.
2. ii) Labour:
Family labour: The farmer is involved in the farming operation. The
other members of his family are also engaged in farm activities fully or
partly.
Permanently hired labour: The farmer did not have any permanently
hired labour for the farming activities. He used to hire some labourers
during peak periods of the crop growth.
Wages: Wage rates are flexible and vary according to demand specially
during peak periods like harvesting, weeding , transplanting etc. Wage
rate is Rs180 per day for man labourer and Rs150 per day for women
labourer.
Peak periods: Peak periods in cultivation of paddy are transplanting,
weeding and harvesting.
3. iii) Availability of draught animals: The farmer did not have
any draught animal in his farm.
iv) Capital: Capital required for cultivation of crops is
managed from the net income of the previous season crop.
v) Farm building: There is a storage building, Bhoral, for
storage of grains.
vi) Equipment & Machinery: The farmer had 1 sprayer, 3
sickles, 3 hoes, 2 rake.
4. B) Appraisal of the alternatives or opportunities:
I) Crops grown: The holding of the farmer is 2.0 ha.
Paddy (Ranjit) is grown in the 1.5 ha area only in Kharif
season.
ii) Resource requirement: The quantity required of different
inputs or resources for production of a particular crop
activity in different crop season and their associated cost are
estimated.

8. Risks in the farm production:
The farmer is not faced with any major risk situation. However, there is
risk of crop damage by insect pest and plant diseases which can be
reduced by taking appropriate control measures. Sometime there is risk
associated with weather .
Weak points in the existing plan:
The package of practices followed in the existing plan has been thoroughly
analyzed to focus the weakness of the existing plan and remedies for them.
a) No seed treatment is practiced for paddy seed. Seed treatment
with Bavistin 0.1% or Captan or Thiram 0.3% helps in reducing
pest problem.
b) The farmer did not follow the recommended fertilizer dose.
c) Recommended spacing is not used
d) Weather uncertainity
9. Kharif
For paddy (Kharif), the suggestions given for improving the package of
practices are as follows:
1. The Farmer should change the crop sequence
2. Seed treatment should be followed @ 3gm of Captan or 1 gm of Bavistin
per kg of seed to reduce the pest and disease incidence and increase the
germination percentage.
3. Balanced fertilizer of N, P and K at recommended dose should be applied.
4. The nitrogen fertilizer should be applied in three splits. The entire P and K
and one third of N should be applied as basal application. Second and third
split of N should be applied at tillering and panicle initiation stage
respectively.
5. Correct spacing should be followed at the time of transplanting.
14. Particulars Qty Amount (Rs)

b) Reduced cost ( For local)

c) Added return(HYV yield) 16q 14400
d) Reduced returns( for local) nil
e) Profitability of the plan
(Added returns + Reduced cost) – (Reduced returns + Added cost)
14400-1819=
12,581
f) B:C ratio 1.0
ii) Analysis of Improved/ Alternative farm plan: Partial budgeting technique has been
used to check the profitability of improved farm plan for Kharif paddy.
iii) Practicability of the improved/ Alternative farm plan: The cost of cultivation of paddy during Kharif
season has increased from 32q/ha to 48q/ha. For this additional cost incurred the additional benefit of
Rs 12,581/ha can be received.
There is no such practice which cannot be adopted by the farmer. Most of the suggested package of
practices involves no capital except a few like additional fertilizers, pesticides and seed treatment. So
there is no problem regarding capital requirement. Since he is a Marginal farmer, he can meet the
additional cost from the same resources.
