Lisa Witteman has been teaching for 29 years, starting as a kindergarten teacher before discovering a passion for teaching students with special needs. She currently teaches K-1 AU at Sanders Elementary School in Austell, Georgia. She received her Bachelor's in Psychology and Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University and her Master's in Special Education from the University of Georgia. Originally from New York, she now lives in Georgia where she enjoys being closer to the ocean than mountains and her four grandchildren make fun of her accent.
