2. Jennifer Carol LarsonMy full name is Jennifer Carol Larson. I grew up in Vermillion, SD. I lived in Vermillion for 14 years of my life. Some of my BEST childhood memories are from here. I went to St. Agnes Elementary. I owe it to those teachers, for why I am becoming a teacher. They were one of the most positive influences in my life.The three things I value most are: my family, my faith, and my education. My mom is my best friend.  I graduated from Roosevelt High School in Sioux Falls, SD. My Dad manages the Olive Garden in Sioux Falls, YUM! I have a dog (Shiatsu) named Muffin. I miss her the second I leave home! I love her. I have one sister, who is currently a senior at Harrisburg High School. Her name is Molly. We are basically complete opposites of each other. 4. …My Professional Goals…My professional Goals are as follows:Graduate from USD with an Elementary/Special Education degree with a Reading Minor in a couple of yearsGet a teacher job somewhere in Sioux Falls (preferably) Teach in a 2nd grade or Kindergarten classroom.If I teach Special Education, I want to teacher upper levels such as middle school. But I do not want to teach regular middle school education.Someday, I think I’d like to work my way up and be a principal of a school. 5. …Where I see myself in 10 years…I see myself teaching in a classroom, somewhere in South Dakota making a difference in my student’s lives, by educating them! I plan on staying in South Dakota my whole life, unless I’m forced to move elsewhere (job placement). I hope to be married! I want to have 2 children. I also want to have a dog – a teacup Yorkshire Terrier, to be exact! I want to have a nice house, but nothing too big, just enough room for my family! I hope to be very involved with my church that I’m a member of at the time. Whether it’s teaching Sunday school, or helping out at church services, just something to help out and be involved!
