First and foremost I am a parent. I am also a practicing educator with 30 years of teaching, coaching, and administrative experience. In addition, I hold a reading specialist credential. With the increased demands and rigor of the common core reading standards, I felt compelled to share my experience with parents and educators. I hope to assist you in navigating these expectations and in providing the support your children need to become successful readers.
