Lisa Witteman has 30 years of teaching experience, including 15 years teaching in Georgia. She has taught both general education and special education students at the primary level. Currently, she is an IRR co-teacher at Atlanta Heights Charter School. She received her Bachelor's in Psychology and Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University and a Master's in Special Education from the University of Georgia. Most recently, she earned a Master's in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern. Originally from New York, Witteman now lives in Georgia where she enjoys being closer to the ocean than mountains. She is married with a daughter and four grandchildren.
