Video production in the cloud for live streamingPaul Richards
Isn’t it incredible when when we can see technology trends repeat themselves in a matter a few years? It feels like Cisco just put the final nail in the video conferencing codec coffin a few months ago, officially ended by the stellar growth in cloud based video meeting software. Just last week in Season 2, Episode 5 of our live streaming show we interviewed what I believe to be the very first cloud based video production software built for the live streaming market. As many of us are aware the shift to the cloud has meant major change and opportunity for businesses around the world. In this article, I will review and predict what the next generation of live streaming software in the cloud has to offer.
It’s amazing what can be done in the cloud these days! In our December 2nd live show I interviewed, Philippe Laurent, CEO of EasyLive. Laurent has finally brought video production into the ever powerful cloud with the new EasyLive SaaS platform! Built from the ground up as a cloud based application EasyLive allows teams from around the world to easily access the same live video production interface. The full YouTube live interview is embedded below (you can skip to minute 7 to watch the live demo only).

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

The UK Work Experience Programme is for students looking for a placement with a leading global bank. The programme provides opportunities to gain some hands-on experience, develop knowledge of banking and financial services, and explore the careers available at HSBC in the UK.
Traineeships are short vocational courses that develop young people's skills in Financial Services, giving them the opportunity to be part of a live working environment and gain life experience.
The UK Apprenticeship is suitable for individuals who do not go to university but are interested in pursuing externally recognised professional qualifications while working in our retail branch network, commercial business centres, IT and/or operational departments:
Entry Point 1. For school and college leavers: Aimed at individuals in the higher or college education who are keen to start a career in banking straightaway instead of going to university, and want to hit the ground running, perform well and contribute directly to business success. This is a development programme where you will keep learning and be provided with the opportunity to progress into management and leadership positions in HSBC
Entry point 2. For individuals joining HSBC in a direct entry-level role: Aimed at those who first join HSBC in a direct entry-level position such as a cashier in one of our branches, or a customer service adviser in one of our call centres or operational areas. Those who perform well in their role in the first three months of joining HSBC will be provided with an opportunity to join the programme.
Internship / Graduate - We also offer internships for penultimate-year students to give them an insight into our global graduate programmes. Our internship and global graduate programmes develop the most talented students and graduates to be the future leaders of HSBC
For students who are at university or who have graduated, there are a number of options from local internships or country-specific programmes or entry-level roles such as a customer service adviser or business analyst.
