Moody, takes place during the civil rights era in the United States. All of the white
children stop playing with Anne after an incident in at the movie theater. These kids
were influenced by their parents who didn t want them interacting with African
Americans. Anne Moody s learns about the significance of racein American social life
as well as the differences between the lives of blacks and whites through her

Alessandra Dal Cengio Leonardi, a dual national of Italy and U.S.A, was
interviewed. The scholarly readings and research on the topic of dual citizenship
were beneficial in learning the legal obligations of the system but the interview
revealed a true and realistic view of the process and its life changing consequences.

College Students Perceived Drinking Norms, Fournier, Hall, Ricke, and Storey
studied the absence or presence of alcohol content on social media and how it would
effect the participants perceived drinking norms of college students (Fournier et al.,
2013, Pg. 86). Their hypothesis was that subjects that were in the alcohol content
group would estimate higher college alcohol norms than the group that did not see
the Facebook page with alcohol content in it (Fournier et al., Pg. 88). Another
predicted, the drinker type that the subject is (binge drinkers vs. non binge drinkers)

content influences college students alcohol use. In this study, the independent

questionnaire that each of the groups took. It measured the following: personal

shown. In the study there were fifty seven participants; 39 female and 18 men, from
the University in Midwestern United States. They recruited from an introductory

Not to mention, I work with kids from 3 months until 5 years old. Throughout my
time that I ve been working there I begin to notice the cognitive development
stages illustrated by the kids. Within the sensorimotor stage, I noticed that the kids
love to crawl around on the carpet, often put things in their mouth that could be
laying anywhere around the daycare and even sometimes during snack times they
would intentionally drop their spoon, fork or whatever utensil they are using on
the floor and watch it drop. But, the biggest part in the sensorimotor stage is object
permanence; I often play the game pee a boo often with the kids sometimes to
keep them quiet but what I notice is the a baby who s six months could be crying
but then suddenly stops and just stare at me. Meanwhile, I play with a 2 year and
they just move my hands, giggle and realize that I m still there but just hiding
behind my hands. As far as the preoperational stage, I really had to observe the kids
in the daycare. The babies that are walking often tries to communicate with me;
like they be talking, pointing to things and sometimes I believe they know what I
be saying but I just can t quite get what there trying to say. The communication is
there but it isn t the best just yet! The concrete development happens a little too
often I didn t really realize it until now because I now know what it is;
understanding the concept of conservation. In the preschool room, during snack
time the kids call some of the teachers, student workers or I out because the feel as
if somebody have more cookies or chips than them though the pile looks equivalent
to them it s not at all. Even happens with their cups of milk or water, someone
always have more than the other according to the kids. Now as far as, the formal
operational stage I continue to develop everyday sometimes I may not know
