RoTech is a private spin off company from the Belgrade University. It is founded by Prof. Dr Aleksandar Veg and Mr. Aco Gobeljic, B.Sc.ME. The founders of the company have been actively involved with vibrodiagnostics, balancing and condition monitoring at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Belgrade since 1980. Both Gobeljic and Veg are still actively present at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, leading the research and development activities in related areas. Vibration control is a top expertise of RoTech. It involves a variety of measurements (temperature, parts shape and dimension, run out, misalignment, vibrations, acoustics, etc.), diagnosis, assessment, predictive and proactive maintenance, machinery protection, inspection and verification. RoTech itself, with a response time of few hours, serves for vibration control over 100 companies in a radius of 500 km around Belgrade. Some farther destinations are covered by RoTech representatives and visiting experts (Libya, Syria, Iraq, etc.). Vibration control is based on ISO recommended procedures and originally developed techniques. Instruments for site diagnosis are either of SKF origine (Microlog, Fixturlaser, Marlin …) or RoTech designed products (Vibrobalance, Rotobalance, Micro Mon, Dyna Log, Micro Mon+ …). Reporting and case studies of machinery health are based on RoTech methodology developed within decades of successful work. Conditional monitoring and modal testing of civil structures include: bridges, towers in electricity transmission lines, steel structures etc.
