CONCLUSIONS
• Bypasses are divided or undivided are rural highways classified under National Highways
or through traffic with partial or full control of access and generally with grade separation
at major intersections.
• After the construction of bypass for Guna Town, the main objectives like reduction in
travel time, easy, safe , efficient and economic transportation system is achieved. LCV
(light commercial vehicle) and HCV (Heavy commercial vehicle) will experience much
easy maneuver and reduced vehicle operating costs.
• Bypasses are good because they reduce the amount of traffic in the centre where the
people live and work. It makes it much safer for them to cross the roads, and reduces
pollution. It is better for the vehicles passing the town because their journey is made quicker.
• Development of the proposed bypass will open up the gates of easy and smooth flow of
traffic especially commercial vehicles, via Guna on A.B.Road.
• In case of emergency and defense purposes, this bypass can be used as a major mode of
transportation to serve the country.
