Writing an essay on the topic "Against Abortions" can be a challenging task, requiring a careful
balance of sensitivity, empathy, and persuasive argumentation. This particular subject is deeply
rooted in moral, ethical, and personal beliefs, making it a sensitive and controversial issue.
Crafting an essay against abortions involves delving into complex discussions about the sanctity
of life, women's reproductive rights, societal attitudes, and the legal landscape surrounding
abortion.
The difficulty lies in navigating the intricacies of these multifaceted perspectives. To construct a
compelling argument against abortions, one must address the ethical concerns surrounding the
termination of potential life while also considering the rights and autonomy of women.
Moreover, it is crucial to acknowledge the diverse range of circumstances that may lead
individuals to consider abortion, adding an additional layer of complexity to the discussion.
Engaging in research to support your viewpoint is essential, as it requires a comprehensive
understanding of medical, legal, and ethical aspects. It involves examining statistical data,
medical opinions, and legal frameworks to strengthen your arguments. Additionally, maintaining
a respectful and empathetic tone is crucial, given the sensitivity of the topic.
It is essential to anticipate counterarguments and respond to them thoughtfully, demonstrating a
nuanced understanding of the opposing perspectives. Striking a balance between passion and
objectivity is crucial in creating an essay that is both persuasive and respectful.

The Probability Of Wining In The Tic-Tac-Toe Game
The Goal
My goal is to find the probability of wining in tic tac toe game given that you make
the first move. To obtain hypothesis bases on my goal I have to state some
conditions and facts on the game. They are: 1) There are 362, 880 ways of placing
O s and X s. 2) When X make first move, possibility of X winning is 131,184, O
winning is 77, 904, and 46, 080 tied games (Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tic

only 138 unique outcomes. X won 91 times, O won 44 times and 3 ties (Source:

There are 8 possible ways of creating three X in row. Based on this my hypothesis ...

After that I performed ESX supervised learning with all data as training data as
shown below: Then I performed another mining session with only first 658 instances
as training data and other 300 as testing data in order to evaluate the model. The
parameter window is shown below. Apart from supervised learning, several other
mining techniques are used to evaluate the data. They are: Mangrove, a freeware
which generates decision tree and classification tree using excel file. All of them will
be described more in detail under the evaluating the results division.
Interpretation of the results (from Data Mining)
When talking about interpreting the results, first we have to check whether the
formed classes are solid one. To do this we have to check whether the class
resemblance score which should be higher than the domain resemblance score. In
this case both Positive and Negative class has score higher than the domain
resemblance score. They are only slightly higher because of the nature of the
values of the attribute. The scores are shown below. When we look at the domain
statistics for the categorical attributes we can see the predictability score for all the
attribute value X is more than the predictability score of other two possible values
of O (other player move) and b (blank). The scores are shown below. When we
examine the class individually I found that the attribute value highly sufficient for
being class membership is M M = X, and the attribute

Inception is an overhyped blockbuster accompanied by several moving parts that
will leave you in awe, but nonetheless it s a work of art. Dom Cobb (played by

Misunderstood Heating Fuels
Americans have been using heating oil to keep their homes and offices warm for
decades, but it remains one of the most misunderstood heating fuels. While most
people are familiar with oil, not many know about oil heat or how it compares to
other petroleum products. The type of heating system to use in a person s home is
an important decision for anyone to make, and once it s installed it will neither be
easy nor cheap to modify. For this reason, it is necessary that you know the facts
about oil heat and how to differentiate them from myth. Residents and businesses in

Sigmund Freud s Oedipus Complex ( Schultz Sydney P. 42 )
For my final submission, I will be reviewing everything that I had learned in class,
about psychology from the early days of Freud all the way to preset day.
Growing up, Freud s father was strict and authoritarian; Freud felt superior to his
father by the age of 2. His mother was protective and loving towards him, which led
Freud to feel a passionate, sexual attachment to her. This situation set the stage for his
Oedipus complex (Schultz Sydney P. 42). Like this complex, most of Freud s theories
reflect his own childhood.
Freud later described personality as being made up of three structures, first, the Id.
The Id is the aspect of personality that deals with instincts; it operates according to
the pleasure principle. Freud described the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Freud described the reality principle as being governed by the Ego, which controls
the instant gratification mentality of the Id. Lastly is the Superego, which is the
moral aspect of personality. It is the internalization of parental and societal values
and standards. Freud thought that this aspect was developed by the age of 5 or 6
and consist initially of the rules established by our parents (Schultz Sydney P. 51).
The belief that this aspect of our personality being completely developed by the age
of 5 or 6 is one of the concepts that Freud and Jung disagreed on.
Freud and Jung also disagreed on dream analysis and how to interpret dreams. Using
dream analysis Freud thought that he could learn about an individual through the
interpretation of their dreams. He thought that our experiences and desires would
come to light in our dreams, even our sexually repressed desires. Freud also thought
that different inanimate objects represented phallic symbols or hidden meaning in
ones dreams (Schultz Sydney P. 87). This is just another example of how Freud
incorporated a sexual meaning or desire into his theories.
Like Freud, Carl Jung believed that dream analysis allowed for a window into the
unconscious mind. However, unlike Freud s theory about dream interpretation, Jung
didn t believe that content of all dreams were sexual or that they disguised their true
meaning. Jung thought that dreams were more symbolic, that dreams could have
different interpretations according to

Hardware and Project Considerations When Implementing A New CRM System The
most effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems are deliberately
designed to align and enhance the strategic initiatives and programs of a given
business or enterprise. They must take into account customer preferences, needs and
wants as well, and strive to create a foundation of shared information and insight
over time There are a myriad of studies that show how effective CRM systems are in
transforming businesses and making them more customer centric, profitable and
responsive to rapidly changing market requirements. The level of adoption and
continued use of CRM systems also assures a company s culture stays agile enough
to respond to changing market conditions while also keeping the level of expertise
and knowledge about customers continually growing (Chen, Chiu, 2010). Having a
single system of record pertaining to all customer interactions give companies a
competitive advantage in that they have greater insight into how prospects make
buying decisions (Wang, Feng, 2012). When implementing a CRM system there are
five critical success factors that are essential to its success and these include cost, risk,
scope, time, and quality. The most effective CRM implementations that deliver the
greatest value balance all five of these factors and synchronize them together to create
strategies that deliver consistently profitable results. These five critical success
factors are essential
The Bitch Manifesto By Joreen Freeman
Feminist Movements started long before 1960, with the advancement of women
earning the right to vote. However, it did not stop with that change. There were
many other items that the women in history hoped to change, not only to better
their own lives, but also the women of the future. With the use of many documents,
such as flyers, letters, and boycotts, women of the past changed many different
aspects of life for women in the world today. Boycotting the Miss America Pageant
in 1968 and 1969, circulating flyers around America, was just the beginning of this
second movement. They also used to write to convey their thoughts. One of which
was titled The Bitch Manifesto and was written in 1968 by Joreen Freeman. The
second was a spin off from a children s book entitled There was a Young Women
Who Swallowed a lie which was written in 1970 by Meredith Tax. Slavery Exists!
Reported by a flyer that circulated around America in 1968. At this time, slavery as
we remember was over, so to many at the time, what the women were proclaiming
may have been confusing to some. This circulated around before the Miss America
pageant. The Washington Women s Liberation were portraying the pageant to slavery
because Miss America was a slave to cultural norms of the time, the image of sex,
virginal prettiness, glory of war, mindless conformity, acceptance of racism, cult of
youth, the competitive spirit, and the capitalistic system. With this flyer, they were
hoping to gather others who

Name Of The Rose
The movie, The Name of the Rose is about apprentice Adso of Melk and his
mentor, Franciscan friar William of Baskerville. These two men traveled to a
Benedictine abbey to discuss the poverty of Christ. While at the abbey, there was a
series of mysterious murders that continued to take place one after another. The
abbey requested that William and Adso help to solve the mystery of why these
murders were taking place. Through many trials and setbacks, William discovered
that a secretive book was being passed from person to person. He learned that when
a person touched the book with their hands, they later digested the poisonous ink.
This poisonous ink that got on the victims hands was the cause of all the murders.
Therefore, the movie does not have an accurate plot, however the historical
background in the film is correct based on the sources.
In The Life Times of St. Francis, St. Francis was born in Assisi and was raised in a
church going family. In his younger years, he enlisted into the military until he
eventually came back to the church. He dedicated his life to Christ and the church
in 1207 and ultimately became a friar, a deacon, and a preacher in his adult years.
St. Francis believed in the gospel and worshipping God. In 1210, he was the founder
of the Franciscan movement which was made up of orders about the teachings and
spiritual disciplines of the founder, associates, and followers. Moving forward to
1212, St. Francis dedicated his life to preaching and

The Basic Tasks Of Journalism
Christians et al. classify the basic tasks of journalism in a democracy under three
main headings:
1.The task of observing and informing, primarily as a service to the public
2.The task of participating in public life as an independent actor by way of critical
comment, advice, advocacy and expression of opinion
3.The task of providing a channel, forum, or platform for extramedia voices or
sources to reach a self chosen public (pp. 116).
This tasks could be developed and performed by journalism in four types of outlets,
in their specific media systems, characterized by Christians et al. as it follows (p.
117):
1.The internally pluralist and secular media that seek to maximize circulation, which
appeal to a wide range of audiences
2.The externally pluralist commercial media that seek to maximize circulation, but
orienting its content to a like minded audience
3.The partisan media, noncommercial and in a small scale, oriented to ideas of a
particular group
4.The minority media of opinion and debate
The authors display these types of media in a diagram (p. 118) in order to organize
and visualize the way in which different outlets and journalism can be located in a
continuum between open access and closed access (to audiences) and the media as
an observer or a participant (that can be used as a weapon).
Within this landscape, Christians et al. point out the most typical journalistic roles, as
it follows (p. 12):
1.The monitorial role
2.The facilitative role

What Is The Aftermath Of The Kent State Shooting
The Kent state shooting occurred in Ohio, at Kentucky State University in 1970. It
involved the shooting of four unarmed students by Ohio National guard. Shortly after
Richard Nixon attempted to gain the support of the American People to invade
Cambodia s borders, numerous students across all the states started to protest against
his quick expansion. Once threatened, the Federal government felt the need to use
military force to oppose the students, minimize violence and vandalism. Nevertheless,
several Americans felt that their constitutional rights were violated since the
government was attempting to dismiss their perspectives on the aftermaths from the
war in Vietnam. During one of the protests, particularly in Kent State a shooting

we should have government controlling us. Many people want to be treated as

government doesn t have complete control then there will be corruption and people

Evite De Peron Analysis
Arguably the most politically controversial and influential women in Argentine
history, and Spiritual Leader of the nation, Maria Eva Duarte de Peron (1919
1952) and much of the history of her life is subject to substantial bias due to a
myriad of anti Peronist propaganda during the Peron s regime, as Marysa Navarro
states you were either for her, or against her . Although there is a consensus to a
monumental sum of the facts apropos to Eva Peron s life, the subject of discourse is
rather in the interpretations and perceptions of her life, such as her reasons for the
creation of the Eva Peron Foundation, how she came the her prominence, and her
purpose and goals. The orthodox view of Eva was formed directly after her death and
entails an image of promiscuity, manipulation, greed, and hunger for power and
revenge. However, towards the end of the twentieth century, revisionists refined this
interpretation, diminishing the negative portrayal; creating a less biased presentation.
The orthodox interpretation may be accredited to the Argentinian historian and author

however, must be read and analysed with substantial scepticism and vigilance.
Keeping in mind that Main was born to an upper class family in Argentina, it is likely
that this influenced her perception of Eva before she began writing her book. This
is due to the Eva Peron Foundation, through which Eva and Juan taxed many of the
luxuries only available to the middle and upper classes of Argentinian society, also
known as the oligarchy. This inevitably caused substantial resentment for the socialist
views of the Peronist movement and its leaders, Juan and Eva. Additionally, it is
likely that this is also the cause of Mains extreme criticism of the Eva Peron
Foundation and her targeting of Eva, deeming her as promiscuous as an attempt to of

Life Of Pi By Yann Martel s Life Of Pi
There was once a man who was driving around in the winter, he lost control of his
car and went into a ditch. He awoke to find himself alone in the car with no gas

After Gwilan had finished assembling her harp, she walked outside of the tent and

Troy Versus Homers Illiad
TROY VS HOMERS ILIAD
(A comparison between the two with a mix of movie reviewing) by Amber Shepherd
When comparing the movie Troy, directed by Wolfgang Petterson, and The Iliad,
written by Greek poet Homer we can clearly see that although Petterson has made an
excellent film he has clearly left out certain aspects of the Iliad which really define the
story.
Both versions portray the Trojan Warbetween Greece and Troy, Achilleskilling
Hector and King Priam visiting Achilles to ask for the body of his son Hector
back. However both versions do not portray accurate versions of the fight between
Menelaus and Paris, nor do they correctly explain why Helen has come to reside in

Once they land on the shores of Troy, the immediately sack a nearby town which

prize, unbeknown to him that she is the cousin of Hector and Paris. Agamemnon
begins to claim that Briseis was his spoil of war which angers Achilles to the point in
which he vows that one day Agamemnon will fall under his sword.
We then see a clip of Helen attempting to leave Troy as she believes if she returns to
Menelaus it will prevent more lives from being lost. Hector sees her and persuades
her to stay, telling her she is a princess of Troy now. The next day, Agamemnon as
his army march to Troy and demand the return of Helen or a war would break out.
Hector offers up his brother Paris to fight Menelaus in order to decide who would
get to keep Helen. Just before Menelaus can deliver the death blow, Paris crawls to
his brother s feet and hides behind him in cowardice. Hector then delivers the death

Advantages Of The Battle Of Agincourt
French Drawbacks The Battle of Agincourt could have, and should have, been an
easy victory for the French. They outnumbered their opponent with fresh troops
and fought on their own turf. All signs pointed to victory. However, this caused
them to become overconfident, which led to hasty decisions as well as the neglect
to consider terrain and prior encounters with palings. Intelligence Assets Spies have
always been a part of warfare in one form or another. Christine de Pisan s book The
Book of Deeds of Arms and of Chivalry (as cited in Arthurson, 2013) suggested that
one should be curiose diligent to send forthe here there his espies subtylli...to
[u]nderstande [the] purpose of his enemyes (p. 136). With the threat of imminent
battle looming, scouts, riders, and runners would provide intelligence on the status of
enemy formations and their disposition. Both the English and French used scouts as
Henry s army marched toward Calais. In one instance, English scouts found six
thousand French guarding a river crossing that forced them to find another route.
Similarly, the French tracked the progress of Henry s army to block his advance as
they amassed troops. From their scouts, the French also learned that the English were
few, short on supplies, and weary from the march and illness. Such an easy target
excited the French, who rushed ahead to intercept Henry and his forces before they
could escape. Additionally, this attracted many French nobles, eager to take part in the
Pros And Cons Of California Town Hall Meetings
A California town is being threatened with a lawsuit over a 12 hour prayer rally
held outside the city hall for a 6 year old girl who was shot last week, and for an
upcoming town hall meeting at a property belonging to a Christian organization. City
mayor Anthony Silva received a letter from the American Humanist Association and
Stockton Area Atheists and Freethinkers, telling him that the prayer rally held at a
public property violated the Constitution. The rally was dedicated to the 6 year old
child who was wounded in gunfire aimed at the car she was riding with her mother.
The mayor had organized the rally in hopes of ending homicidal violence, of which
the little girl was 40th victim. My city had its 40th homicide. So we are in desperate

Mayors and other public officials cannot use the machinery of the state to push their
religious agendas. Using the state to promote prayer violates the Establishment
Clause of the First Amendment and alienates community members of minority
faiths and of no faith, AHA senior counsel Monica Miller said in a statement. The
letter also complained that the town hall meetings should not take place at
properties of Christian organizations such as of Christian Life Center, where it is
set to take place on November 30. There is similarly no secular purpose for holding
town hall meetings in religious Christian venues, especially when there are ample
secular government venues available. And clearly, there is no secular purpose in
having a city sponsored town hall meeting hosted by a Christian organization. The
city s rejection of the alternative of wholly secular [venues] makes it very clear that
its purpose of holding the town hall meetings in churches is
The Debate Over The Legalization Of Same Sex Marriage
Within the past few decades, as society has been adapting to various cultural changes,
traditional values have come into contest with more liberal values. One of the most
prevalent examples of this is the ongoing debate over the legalization of same sex
marriage within America. In the article Supreme Court should make gay marriagea
national right by the editorial staff at the Boston Globe, the importance of the
upcoming Supreme Court ruling on same sex marriage was stressed because it is a
topic that has been dodged thus far. While numerous federal circuit courts have
ruled on this issue, some in favor and some opposed, the legal dispute of whether
the decision should be left up to the state democratic process will finally be settled.
Through looking at previous key rulings in the cases Zablocki v. Redhail and Loving
v. Virginia, the editorial argued in favor of same sex marriagebased on the precedence
that the Supreme Court has determined marriage as a fundamental right that should
be uniform across the country and equally available for every individual. However,
while the editorial staff asserts this right of marriage as an institution through those
precedent cases, they do not go far enough to justify why the selected court cases
extend to same sex marriage, why marriage is a fundamental right, and why this
issue has been so controversial in the court of law. While the editorial included the
two court cases Zablocki v. Redhail and Loving v. Virginia, it failed to

Similar Themes in of Kitchen God s Wife and Joy Luck Club
Amy Tan s two novels, The Kitchen God s Wife and The Joy Luck Club, represent a
unique voice that is rarely heard in literature. Tan is a Chinese American woman who
tells stories of old China that are rich in history and culture. Both novels have at least
one strong central female character who is trying to inform her daughter about their
Chinese heritage and familial roots.
The plot ofThe Joy Luck Club displays this idea in each woman s story. The older
generation is comprised of four women: Suyuan Woo, An Mei Hsu, Lindo Jong, and
Ying Ying St. Clair. They relate their stories to their daughters, hoping to retain some
of their rich histories and old lifestyles ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Kitchen God s Wife is the story of Winnie Louie, a Chinese woman who came
to the United States after World War II. She has survived abandonment, a bad
marriage, loss of children, war and bombings, and adaptation to a new culture.
Through the novel Winnie relates the story of her life to her daughter Pearl, who is
unaware of her culture and Chinese heritage. Winnie wants Pearl to understand what
her life was like in traditional China.
Tan expresses similar themes in the two novels. One of these recurring themes is a
generation and culture clash between old customs and Western civilization. The
mothers in both books come from a strict country with rigid rules and restrictions for
women. The daughters have grown up in America without those limitations, making
it hard for them to relate to their mothers.
Another common theme is abandonment. At least one character in each book has
either been abandoned by loved ones or has abandoned loved ones herself. Not only
are abusive husbands abandoned by their wives, but babies are abandoned by their
mothers, as well. The older women in both novels are forced to deal with the
abandonment of their countries, cultures, and lifestyles.
Strong central characters are seen throughout both novels. The older generation of
women displays strength gained through experiencing the hardships of war. The
younger generation of the Chinese

While computers are an important tool in regards to teaching, they are also a large
distraction and can show the students that their responsibilities (i.e. lecture, lab,
exams) are not important. Bringing your computer to lecture for non class purposes
such as email, shows the students that it is not worth your time to pay attention and
sets a poor example. Looking at your personal computer in lab is a safety issue
because you are not concentrating on what is happening in the lab and it indicates
that the students are not your top priority. Personal computers detract from your
focus, which needs to be entirely on your students at all times.
B. Ethics
If you are respectful in your relations with your students, they will be respectful of
you. If you are cold and sharp or condescending in the discussion of their work or
difficulties, they will feel uncomfortable and have as little contact with you as they
can. Although you will want to be friendly with your students, you must remember
that you are not one of their peers. You cannot be one of the gang with them on

A Fundamental Advantage Of Ecs Adjustment For

A fundamental advantage of ECS adjustment for effective dynamic thermal storage
is that it is relatively easy to implement. Conventional air conditioning and
thermostats are designed to perform in slow control loops, on time scales of
minutes. ECS adjustment can use time scale separation and stay away from this
effective dc loop action. In this sense, an ac feed forward signal is injected into a
drive to adjust power flow on fast time scales, while avoiding interference on slow
time scales. The average performance of the ECS system remains intact, and the fast
adjustment is transparent to users. Fig. 2 displays this implementation control.

A few recent papers [53] [56] have demonstrated a virtual synchronous machine
(VSM) concept, particularly for microgrid applications and usually for distributed
generators utilizing the same ac dc ac conversion stages. The same concept
applied on flywheel based energy storage is discussed in [57]. Given the
similarities existed in the MEA power grid and motor controlled thermal storage, it
is deemed feasible to implement the VSM concept in this research. A high level
description is shown in Fig. 3. For a synchronous machine in the rotating reference
frame, the d q voltage and current relationship is shown in (1a b), where vg is the
grid voltage, R is the stator resistance, M is the magnetizing, and Ld = Lq = L is
assumed. On the other hand, the active front end (i.e., the hex bridge converter
connected to the gird) follows (2a b) in d q reference frame at П‰c rotating speed,
where Rg and Lg are grid tied resistance and inductance, and vc is the output
voltage at the converter controlled by modulation index from the dc voltage bus [].
The analogy between (1a b) and (2a b) is straightforward. By equating the first three
terms and varying the modulation indices, md and mq, the active front end mimics
the VSM proposed in [ZhongQC]. The purpose of the ac motor tied inverter (i.e., the
left hex bridge converter in Fig. 3) is to main a constant 270 V dc bus by adjusting
the motor speed and torque using conventional vector controls. Given the limited

of those who believe that the phenomenon of goodwill impairment testing required
through the introduction of SFAS 142 (now ASC 350) are a means of providing
information relevant to users of financial statements. These findings are
supplemented by evidence that the amount of goodwill written off is associated with
firm size and leverage (Godfrey and Koh 138). Consequently, this could be linked to
the study concluding that investors view recognition of goodwill impairment as a

how the goodwill testing system under the FASB and IASB provides useful

I questioned this in almost the exact same manner as the guy does to Professor

pondered the question the guy asks: Why must we all talk about race... (429). This
blog offers a beautiful, understandable explanation of what white privilege is to

The Mongol Empire And The Impact Of The Mongol
Empire
Revised paper proposal and bibliography
The Mongol empire was one the greatest empires of all time expanding all over
Central Asia. Bordering Chinese states, the Khwarazmian empire, present day
Afghanistan, Siberia, Iran, and many more, at its height the mongol empire was over
20,000,000 square kilometers. This was all possible due to extraordinary men in
Central Asia, ruled by Genghis khan emperor of the Mongol empire. These Asian
nomads along with their fearless and intelligent leader, flourished against numerous
odds impacting all those whom they waged war against. A recipient of this impact in
particular was Russia. It was around 1219 when the Mongols first entered the Kievan
Russia marking the beginning of the interactions of the two. With the Mongols rise in
establishing one of the largest contiguous empire in history and having Russia only
distances away the collision of the two were inevitable. As history shows this
collision did happen in the year 1236 which marked the beginning of great impact that
the Mongols would have on the Russian empire culturally, politically, and
economically.
Prior to the rise of the Mongol empire and their invasion of Russia, was a time of
violence. Mongolia separated by tribes and provinces was a non unified empire with
little impact to Central Asia. Being separated, feuds between provinces of power and
money were the reason why Mongolia remained separated. The provinces after a

Catalase In Avocado And Cantaloupe
Introduction Enzymes are catalysts that help promote chemical reactions by
integrating or breaking apart biological molecules. Most metabolic processes in the
cell need enzymes to occur at rates quick enough to sustain life. Because enzymes
are particular with what substances they choose to speed up, they only affect a tiny
percentage of all the possible reactions. The group of enzymes made in a cell
determine which metabolic pathway is selected. Enzymes are critical to the human
body, specifically the body s metabolismsystem. The metabolic system is a long
series of continuous chemical reactions, and these catalysts boost efficiency and

.125%, .25%, .5%, 1%, 3%, and 6% hydrogen peroxide. To keep outside factors,
such as temperature, from affecting the results of the enzymatic rate of reaction,
we kept the two enzyme solutions in ice, and had each of the substrate solutions in

measuring what happens with the filter paper if there is no substrate. The rate of
reaction was measured by taking bits of the same size Whatman #1 filter paper, by
using a hole punch, dipping it in the enzyme solution for two seconds, letting the
excess soak into a paper towel, and putting the paper into the substrate solutions. As
the filter paper first touched the water, we started timing to measure how long it
would take for the paper to lift from the bottom of the glass. We did this with both
the cantaloupe and avocado, twice each, to have two trials for each percentage of
each solution. We then took the average of both tests and found the rate of reaction
by dividing one over the average of the rate of reaction for each
My Career Choice Ever Since I
Education has been my career choice ever since I began high school. Through the
many years of experience education has allowed me to grow in knowledge,
understanding, and professionalism. As I have earned a master s degree and now
on a journey to attain a doctorate degree, education is once again allowing me to
develop and stretch myself even more. My family has always been supportive of
my endeavors; of course while I was growing and developing into a young adult
my parents had more of a voice in my decisions and would help point me in the
right direction. As I matured my wife and children filled the role of being the
supportive team that I relied on to keep me grounded. Disruptions of time spent
together, activities attended by only one parent and at times dealing with a parent
that was quick to anger because of a lack of sleep or dealing with stress of another
homework assignment due date. There are times I am not engaged with my family
and do not cope well with life s challenges and I don t approach the day very well
(Boers, 2012). Along with supporting my educational desires, they have also
supported my attempts to increase my salary by moving from the elementary school
level to the high schoollevel. My family had to learn to deal with a parent being
away from home more in the evening because of the transition from one job to the
other. In my present position as an assistant principal I am not comfortable sharing

Essay on Midwife
Hearing the word midwife leaves many people thinking of unprofessional,
inexperienced women who help deliver babies naturally, without the help of
medication. In truth, nurse midwives are registered nurses who have attended
additional schooling for women s health and are taught to make women feel as
comfortable as possible. In the beginning, remedies were the females legacies, their
birthright ; these females were known as wise women by the people, witches of
charlatans by authorities . (Ehrenreich, 1973). Females were wanderers, traveling
from one place to another, healing the sick and wounded. (Ehrenreich 1973). These
women were among the first human healers and they were especially helpful when it

Comparing Direct Democracy And Representative
Democracy
There are numerous comparison and differences between direct and representative
democracy.Representative democracy has someone who represents you and speaks
for you. Direct democracy is when you vote on every single thing. Both democracies
vote on legislation that affects them. A direct democracy is a form of democracy
where people vote on every single thing and a representative democracyis a form of
democracy where people elect officials that represent a group of people.
Representative democracy is better than direct democracy because the representative
s people elect to know more about politics than the common people do, so the
common people can t make formal decisions. The United Statesuses representative
democracy, which when representatives vote on the important stuff while
representing the people. People elect officials based on if their beliefs and ideas
match with each other. The people still have an opinion, but they just have someone
else speaking for them and making sure that their opinions are heard. Ideally, the
laws and policies enacted by the elected representatives should closely reflect the
will of the majority of the people. Instead of requiring a vote by the people every
time an issue comes up, the representatives can vote on behalf of their district to
simplify the process. Representative democracy focuses more on... Show more

Statistics such as this are publicized so that policies can be developed and these
victims can have greater advocacy, such as the 1991Violence Against Women Act in
the United States (Goodman 1993). The informational document developed by the
WHO as well as a report discussing the current research being done on male violence
against women states the most common forms of violence against women, the severe
fatal and non fatal health consequences of violence, and the factors that increase a
woman s risk of being a victim of violence (Garcia Moreno 1993 and Goodman

More recently, studies looking at abuse against women in the U.S., such as the

regions. By the end of the eighteenth century, the notion was expanded to include

At the latter part of the 1800s, nostalgia was no longer a part of the medical world,
misinterpreted and transformed into a word used to describe inefficient politics and
history from late nineteenth century and twentieth century.
A.It was now seen as a symptom of the real unease caused by an unjust society, a
condition that would disappear as soon as the underlying cause of the dissatisfaction
was done away with (Natali, 2004, p. 18).
B.Nostalgia thus became a label used to define those who fell outside of the modern
framework (Natali, 2004, p.11).
C.It became a form of melancholy by being a term employed to charge attachment to
and affect for the past with being both politically reprehensive and empirically
untenable and a longing for an earlier, simpler time (Natali, 2004, p. 11).
i.Nostalgia negatively affects not only history, as it is a progress toward an
improved state, (Natali, 2004, p. 11) but also politics, as Karl Marx claims it hinders
the moving towards greater individual freedom and scientific development but, more
significantly, towards a more just society (Natali, 2004, p. 11). ii. Attachment to the
past becomes a hindrance precisely because of the belief that the past is irreparably
lost, making nostalgia a desire without the possibility of fulfillment (Natali, 2004, p.

Historical Legislation from 1965: Medicare and Medicaid The Medicare and
Medicaid programs were signed into law on July 30, 1965 by President Lyndon
Johnson ( Centers for Medicare, 2012). Before this decision was even taken into
consideration, many other healthcare reforms had previously been introduced by
earlier presidents, but failed to pass the Senate. Healthcare issues have always been
on board for the United States, but during this time the elderly and the poor were
desperately screaming for help. The government had no choice but to come up with a
solution to their healthcare needs; these two ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Each states administrates the program according to their guidelines, laws, and
financial status (Wesissman, Zaslavsky, Wolf, Ayanian, 2008).
In order to qualify for Medicaid individuals must meet certain regulations.
Eligibility depends on each state, age and whether the individual is a U.S. Citizen,
blind, pregnant, single parent, or suffers from any disabilities; all of this plays a
huge role in the Medicaid eligibility criteria. Although, some immigrants may be
able to benefit from this program, if the immigrant is a woman whose labor and
delivery of child is taken care of inside the U.S. that is enough to make them eligible
for Medicaid (Medicaid, 2012). Even though the states are allowed to provide their
own regulation guidelines along with other decisions for this health program, there
are certain mandatory federal requirements that must be met by each state in order to
receive funding. Some of those requirements include; inpatient hospital service,
prenatal care, vaccines for children, rural health clinic services, transportation services
and many others that according to the federal government are extremely essential for
the management of this program ( What is medicare/medicaid?, 2012).
Considering the fact that millions of Americans have greatly benefited from these
two health programs, the ones who are not really getting much out of this are
hospitals and other health care facilities around the country. Reimbursement from

Cultural Background
Culture is the totality of learned, socially transmitted customs, knowledge, material
objects, and behavior. It includes ideas, values, and artifacts of groups of people
(Schaefer, 2006). Understanding culture can be tricky, ever ask why do people act
the way they do? , what made me do that , what was I thinking? Physical abilities,
educational background, and social background of how I was raised are important
aspects of my life. The environment in which I was raised is very important aspect of
my life.

Similarities in culture is more so the same then not. Even though our early
childhood was around drugs and alcohol our parents made sure we were at church
with either grandparent learning the Word of God. When we moved to the south
side, I met several friends who went to church and church camps as well. That
brought me closer to some families of Caucasian decent. My parents were very
athletic in school and that allowed them to teach us sports and sportsmanship. That
allowed me to blend in with some of the girls in the neighborhood because they
were also athletic. My father took me to a field were girls (Caucasian) were playing
softball after talking with the coach my father left me there to practice with the team.
I guess being in the neighborhood for a while now I was comfortable with him
leaving.
The school atmosphere was different I was hanging with Caucasian girls and the
African American children did not understand what I was doing being so close to
children opposite of my own culture. At that point, I was unsure of what their
problem was but realized they were sheltered from other cultures and raised
differently. This caused several fights as a child because other children would call
me a little white girl and I had no idea of what that meant and was offended. I was
raised around majority boys in the neighborhood, until I started playing softball,
some would consider me as a tomboy. So

Martin Bomber Plant Essay
Everyone in the United States, and the world, knows about the dropping of the
atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II. There are countless
pictures, bombs, and destruction caused, but where did it all start? It started in the
Martin Bomber Plant right here in Nebraska.
The Martin Bomber Plant was commissioned well before Pearl Harbor in September
1940. All over the country, plants were being opened to make bombs, tanks, guns,
and more. Even though the Unites States wasn t fighting in the war yet, we sold
these items to other countries. The plants were also built in preparation for full on
war. Many people in the government wanted to be well prepared for when the United
States would inevitably enter the war.
The U.S. War Department decided to create two new assembly plants on the
interior of the country. The plants needed to be at least 200 miles from the coast.
This was to ensure that the plants would be spared if an assault would have
occurred on the coasts. One of the plants was at Fort Cook that was owned by the
War Department. It was later called the Offutt Air Force Base. This plant supplied the
war effort with many B 26 bombers, like the Martin Bomber Plant in Baltimore. Now,
the government need the second plant.
Rumors quickly spread that more Nebraska communities were being considered for a
plant. These rumors turned out to be true. Vital plants were built near Omaha, Mead,
Hastings, Grand Island, and Sidney. These plants created numerous jobs
Bowling Report
Bowling Report History of Bowling Bowling has a long and rich history, and
today is one of the most popular sports in the world. A British anthropologist, Sir
Flinders Petrie, discovered in the 1930 s a collection of objects in a child s grave
in Egypt that appeared to him to be used for a crude form of bowling. If he was
correct, then bowling traces its ancestry to 3200 BC. A German historian, William
Pehle, asserted that bowling began in his country about 300 AD. There is
substantial evidence that a form of bowling was in vogue in England in 1366, when
King Edward III allegedly outlawed it to keep his troops focused on archery
practice. And it is almost certain that bowling was popular during the reign of Henry
VIII. By this... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
No longer did a proprietor have to rely on pinboys . Television embraced bowling
in the 1950 s, and the game s popularity grew exponentially. NBC s broadcast of
Championship Bowling was the first network coverage of bowling. Coverage
proliferated with shows like Make That Spare , Celebrity Bowling , and Bowling
For Dollars. And in 1961, ABC became the first network to telecast competition of
the Pro Bowlers Association. Successful promoter, agent and entrepreneur Eddie
Elias founded the PBA, and with his leadership, the Pro Bowlers Tour became a
hugely popular stalwart of ABC sports broadcasting. Joined later by telecasts of
the Ladies Pro Bowlers Tour (now the Professional Women s Bowling Association,
PWBA) millions of Americans witnessed and became interested in the sport.
Today, the sport of bowling is enjoyed by 95 million people in more ninety
countries worldwide. Under the auspices of the Federation Nationale des Quilleurs
(FIQ) bowling s top athletes regularly compete in Olympic Zone and worldwide
competitions. Rules of Bowling The rules of bowling are fairly simple. What has
been explained above is the essence of the entire game. But of course there is
slightly more to it than that. The scoring system is one of those things. There are, as
the name suggests, ten pins to knock down. How many a player knocks down in a
frame (with one or two balls) counts as the score for that frame. For example,
For Whom The Bell Tolls(term-paper)
When reading an Ernest Hemingway novel, one must try very hard to focus on the
joy and encouragement found in the work. For Whom the Bell Tolls is full of love
and beauty, but is so greatly overshadowed by this lingering feeling of doom a
feeling that does not let you enjoy reading, for you are always waiting for the let
down, a chance for human nature to go horribly awry. This feelingis broken up into
three specific areas. In Ernest Hemingway s novel, For Whom the BellTolls, humanity
is exploited through brutal violence, unnecessary courage, and hopeless futility.
Hemingway has the uncanny gift of imagery, and he possesses a brilliant mastery of
the English language. He is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The fascists then rounded up all of her family and shot them one by one in the back
of the head, letting her live just to tell the tale to whoever tried to stop them. This
forces you to try and remember that this is just a fictional story and that things like
this don t really happen in ordinary life, but the unfortunate reality is that these
things happen all the time, especially while peoples are at war. To snuff this
horrendous use of violence is much easier, but, sadly, is far from a realistic notion.
Why is there all this violence going on? Sometimes one thinks that had the hero in
this story not been so brazenly courageous, maybe the sadness and disgusting
malice may not have occurred, for if you don t start a fight you cannot get beaten
up, and also, if one hides instead of shouting, he can usually get away. Regardless,
Robert Jordan must do both of the following two acts in order to cope inside this
story: build up his life to apex at one final showdown, and to trap himself in a never
ending tunnel of beatings and ultimately destruction (Frohock 167). Robert Jordan
must make a final stand in For Whom the Bell Tolls if for no other reason, to save his
manhood. John Wain explains:
...To make a last stand for if defeat is accepted in Hemingway s world, humiliation
and rout are not. His fictions present moments of violence, crisis and death, yet these
become occasions for a stubborn, quixotic resistance through which the
An Analysis of Bastard Out of Carolina by Dorothy Allison
One of the most complex and elaborate characters in Bastard Out of Carolina by
Dorothy Allison is Bone. Throughout the story Bone has to live a life where she
thinks that she is the leading mystery of the trouble being caused. She has
numerous unhappy situations and is in no way self satisfied with herself. She
doesn t appreciate who she is physically. She constantly thinks she is the most
homely and dull person who causes the most inconvenience in the family. This
sense of selflessness is mainly due to the physical and sexual abuse brought upon
by Daddy Glen, Bone s stepfather. Unfortunately, the assaults were stretched out
over a long period of time, leaving little chance for Bone to recover as an adult if any
at all. I decided to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although some kinds of sexual behaviors are quite common among non abused
children (for example, kissing, touching genitals manually), sexually abused children
tend to engage in a greater number of sexual behaviors than their non abused peers,
many of which are developmentally talented and seemingly imitative of adult sexual
activity. Such behavior not only may result in interpersonal rejection or
stigmatization by the victim s peer environment, but also may lead to social sanctions
and punishments when it escalates into the victimization of other children. As adults,
survivors report a greater fear of both men and women. They are more likely to
remain single and, once married, are more likely to divorce or separate from their
spouses than are those without sexual abuse histories. Sexual abuse survivors
typically report having fewer friends, less interpersonal trust, less satisfaction in their
relationships, more maladaptive interpersonal patterns and greater discomfort,
isolation, and interpersonal sensitivity. It is said that adults victimized as children
may see themselves as unworthy of relationships with people they consider good or
healthy, and that some victims may attempt to gain mastery over the abuse
experience by recreating it in the form of involvement in poor or abusive
relationships. In

To obtain hypothesis bases on my goal I have to state some conditions and facts on the game. They are: 1) There are 362, 880 ways of placing O s and X s. 2) When X make first move, possibility of X winning is 131,184, O winning is 77, 904, and 46, 080 tied games (Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tic tac toe). In this case both Positive and Negative class has score higher than the domain resemblance score. They are only slightly higher because of the nature of the values of the attribute. The scores are shown below. When we look at the domain statistics for the categorical attributes we can see the predictability score for all the attribute value X is more than the predictability score of other two possible values of O (other player move) and b (blank). • 7. Sigmund Freud s Oedipus Complex ( Schultz Sydney P. 42 ) For my final submission, I will be reviewing everything that I had learned in class, about psychology from the early days of Freud all the way to preset day. Growing up, Freud s father was strict and authoritarian; Freud felt superior to his father by the age of 2. His mother was protective and loving towards him, which led Freud to feel a passionate, sexual attachment to her. This situation set the stage for his Oedipus complex (Schultz Sydney P. 42). Like this complex, most of Freud s theories reflect his own childhood. Freud later described personality as being made up of three structures, first, the Id. The Id is the aspect of personality that deals with instincts; it operates according to the pleasure principle. Freud described the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Freud described the reality principle as being governed by the Ego, which controls the instant gratification mentality of the Id. Lastly is the Superego, which is the moral aspect of personality. It is the internalization of parental and societal values and standards. Freud thought that this aspect was developed by the age of 5 or 6 and consist initially of the rules established by our parents (Schultz Sydney P. 51). The belief that this aspect of our personality being completely developed by the age of 5 or 6 is one of the concepts that Freud and Jung disagreed on. Freud and Jung also disagreed on dream analysis and how to interpret dreams. Using dream analysis Freud thought that he could learn about an individual through the interpretation of their dreams. He thought that our experiences and desires would come to light in our dreams, even our sexually repressed desires. Freud also thought that different inanimate objects represented phallic symbols or hidden meaning in ones dreams (Schultz Sydney P. 87). This is just another example of how Freud incorporated a sexual meaning or desire into his theories. Like Freud, Carl Jung believed that dream analysis allowed for a window into the unconscious mind. However, unlike Freud s theory about dream interpretation, Jung didn t believe that content of all dreams were sexual or that they disguised their true meaning. Jung thought that dreams were more symbolic, that dreams could have different interpretations according to
  • 8. Hardware and Project Considerations When Implementing a... Hardware and Project Considerations When Implementing A New CRM System The most effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems are deliberately designed to align and enhance the strategic initiatives and programs of a given business or enterprise. They must take into account customer preferences, needs and wants as well, and strive to create a foundation of shared information and insight over time There are a myriad of studies that show how effective CRM systems are in transforming businesses and making them more customer centric, profitable and responsive to rapidly changing market requirements. The level of adoption and continued use of CRM systems also assures a company s culture stays agile enough to respond to changing market conditions while also keeping the level of expertise and knowledge about customers continually growing (Chen, Chiu, 2010). Having a single system of record pertaining to all customer interactions give companies a competitive advantage in that they have greater insight into how prospects make buying decisions (Wang, Feng, 2012). When implementing a CRM system there are five critical success factors that are essential to its success and these include cost, risk, scope, time, and quality. The most effective CRM implementations that deliver the greatest value balance all five of these factors and synchronize them together to create strategies that deliver consistently profitable results. These five critical success factors are essential
  • 9. The Bitch Manifesto By Joreen Freeman Feminist Movements started long before 1960, with the advancement of women earning the right to vote. However, it did not stop with that change. There were many other items that the women in history hoped to change, not only to better their own lives, but also the women of the future. With the use of many documents, such as flyers, letters, and boycotts, women of the past changed many different aspects of life for women in the world today. Boycotting the Miss America Pageant in 1968 and 1969, circulating flyers around America, was just the beginning of this second movement. They also used to write to convey their thoughts. One of which was titled The Bitch Manifesto and was written in 1968 by Joreen Freeman. The second was a spin off from a children s book entitled There was a Young Women Who Swallowed a lie which was written in 1970 by Meredith Tax. Slavery Exists! Reported by a flyer that circulated around America in 1968. At this time, slavery as we remember was over, so to many at the time, what the women were proclaiming may have been confusing to some. This circulated around before the Miss America pageant. The Washington Women s Liberation were portraying the pageant to slavery because Miss America was a slave to cultural norms of the time, the image of sex, virginal prettiness, glory of war, mindless conformity, acceptance of racism, cult of youth, the competitive spirit, and the capitalistic system. With this flyer, they were hoping to gather others who

These two men traveled to a Benedictine abbey to discuss the poverty of Christ. While at the abbey, there was a series of mysterious murders that continued to take place one after another. The abbey requested that William and Adso help to solve the mystery of why these murders were taking place. Through many trials and setbacks, William discovered that a secretive book was being passed from person to person. He learned that when a person touched the book with their hands, they later digested the poisonous ink. This poisonous ink that got on the victims hands was the cause of all the murders. The Basic Tasks Of Journalism Christians et al. classify the basic tasks of journalism in a democracy under three main headings: 1.The task of observing and informing, primarily as a service to the public 2.The task of participating in public life as an independent actor by way of critical comment, advice, advocacy and expression of opinion 3.The task of providing a channel, forum, or platform for extramedia voices or sources to reach a self chosen public (pp. 116). This tasks could be developed and performed by journalism in four types of outlets, in their specific media systems, characterized by Christians et al. as it follows (p. 117): 1.The internally pluralist and secular media that seek to maximize circulation, which appeal to a wide range of audiences 2.The externally pluralist commercial media that seek to maximize circulation, but orienting its content to a like minded audience 3.The partisan media, noncommercial and in a small scale, oriented to ideas of a particular group 4.The minority media of opinion and debate The authors display these types of media in a diagram (p. 118) in order to organize and visualize the way in which different outlets and journalism can be located in a continuum between open access and closed access (to audiences) and the media as an observer or a participant (that can be used as a weapon). Within this landscape, Christians et al. point out the most typical journalistic roles, as it follows (p. 12): 1.The monitorial role 2.The facilitative role 3.

Evite De Peron Analysis Arguably the most politically controversial and influential women in Argentine history, and Spiritual Leader of the nation, Maria Eva Duarte de Peron (1919 1952) and much of the history of her life is subject to substantial bias due to a myriad of anti Peronist propaganda during the Peron s regime, as Marysa Navarro states you were either for her, or against her . Although there is a consensus to a monumental sum of the facts apropos to Eva Peron s life, the subject of discourse is rather in the interpretations and perceptions of her life, such as her reasons for the creation of the Eva Peron Foundation, how she came the her prominence, and her purpose and goals. The orthodox view of Eva was formed directly after her death and entails an image of promiscuity, manipulation, greed, and hunger for power and revenge. However, towards the end of the twentieth century, revisionists refined this interpretation, diminishing the negative portrayal; creating a less biased presentation. The orthodox interpretation may be accredited to the Argentinian historian and author Mary Main (1903 1998) in her book Evita: The Womanwith the Whip in 1952. This is due to the Eva Peron Foundation, through which Eva and Juan taxed many of the luxuries only available to the middle and upper classes of Argentinian society, also known as the oligarchy. This inevitably caused substantial resentment for the socialist views of the Peronist movement and its leaders, Juan and Eva. Additionally, it is likely that this is also the cause of Mains extreme criticism of the Eva Peron Foundation and her targeting of Eva, deeming her as promiscuous as an attempt to of

One of the most prevalent examples of this is the ongoing debate over the legalization of same sex marriage within America. In the article Supreme Court should make gay marriagea national right by the editorial staff at the Boston Globe, the importance of the upcoming Supreme Court ruling on same sex marriage was stressed because it is a topic that has been dodged thus far. While numerous federal circuit courts have ruled on this issue, some in favor and some opposed, the legal dispute of whether the decision should be left up to the state democratic process will finally be settled. The same concept applied on flywheel based energy storage is discussed in [57]. Given the similarities existed in the MEA power grid and motor controlled thermal storage, it is deemed feasible to implement the VSM concept in this research. A high level description is shown in Fig. 3. For a synchronous machine in the rotating reference frame, the d q voltage and current relationship is shown in (1a b), where vg is the grid voltage, R is the stator resistance, M is the magnetizing, and Ld = Lq = L is assumed. On the other hand, the active front end (i.e., the hex bridge converter connected to the gird) follows (2a b) in d q reference frame at П‰c rotating speed, where Rg and Lg are grid tied resistance and inductance, and vc is the output voltage at the converter controlled by modulation index from the dc voltage bus []. The analogy between (1a b) and (2a b) is straightforward. By equating the first three terms and varying the modulation indices, md and mq, the active front end mimics the VSM proposed in [ZhongQC]. Comparing Direct Democracy And Representative Democracy There are numerous comparison and differences between direct and representative democracy.Representative democracy has someone who represents you and speaks for you. Direct democracy is when you vote on every single thing. Both democracies vote on legislation that affects them. A direct democracy is a form of democracy where people vote on every single thing and a representative democracyis a form of democracy where people elect officials that represent a group of people. Representative democracy is better than direct democracy because the representative s people elect to know more about politics than the common people do, so the common people can t make formal decisions. The United Statesuses representative democracy, which when representatives vote on the important stuff while representing the people. People elect officials based on if their beliefs and ideas match with each other. The people still have an opinion, but they just have someone else speaking for them and making sure that their opinions are heard. Statistics such as this are publicized so that policies can be developed and these victims can have greater advocacy, such as the 1991Violence Against Women Act in the United States (Goodman 1993). The informational document developed by the WHO as well as a report discussing the current research being done on male violence against women states the most common forms of violence against women, the severe fatal and non fatal health consequences of violence, and the factors that increase a woman s risk of being a victim of violence (Garcia Moreno 1993 and Goodman 1993). More recently, studies looking at abuse against women in the U.S., such as the 1996 National Violence Against Women (NVAW) Survey, seek to understand both women s and men s experiences with violence. The survey along with a report from the National Institute of Health (NIH) s National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism discovered violence against women has grown exponentially in the past 20 years, especially in the area of intimate partner violence and sexual assault (Tjaden 2000 and Abbey). Attachment to the past becomes a hindrance precisely because of the belief that the past is irreparably lost, making nostalgia a desire without the possibility of fulfillment (Natali, 2004, p.

There are countless pictures, bombs, and destruction caused, but where did it all start? It started in the Martin Bomber Plant right here in Nebraska. The Martin Bomber Plant was commissioned well before Pearl Harbor in September 1940. All over the country, plants were being opened to make bombs, tanks, guns, and more. Even though the Unites States wasn t fighting in the war yet, we sold these items to other countries. The plants were also built in preparation for full on war. Many people in the government wanted to be well prepared for when the United States would inevitably enter the war. The U.S. War Department decided to create two new assembly plants on the interior of the country. The plants needed to be at least 200 miles from the coast. This was to ensure that the plants would be spared if an assault would have occurred on the coasts. One of the plants was at Fort Cook that was owned by the War Department. It was later called the Offutt Air Force Base. This plant supplied the war effort with many B 26 bombers, like the Martin Bomber Plant in Baltimore. Now, the government need the second plant. Rumors quickly spread that more Nebraska communities were being considered for a plant. These rumors turned out to be true. Vital plants were built near Omaha, Mead, Hastings, Grand Island, and Sidney. These plants created numerous jobs

If he was correct, then bowling traces its ancestry to 3200 BC. A German historian, William Pehle, asserted that bowling began in his country about 300 AD. How many a player knocks down in a frame (with one or two balls) counts as the score for that frame. For example,

To snuff this horrendous use of violence is much easier, but, sadly, is far from a realistic notion. Why is there all this violence going on? Although some kinds of sexual behaviors are quite common among non abused children (for example, kissing, touching genitals manually), sexually abused children tend to engage in a greater number of sexual behaviors than their non abused peers, many of which are developmentally talented and seemingly imitative of adult sexual activity. Such behavior not only may result in interpersonal rejection or stigmatization by the victim s peer environment, but also may lead to social sanctions and punishments when it escalates into the victimization of other children. As adults, survivors report a greater fear of both men and women. They are more likely to remain single and, once married, are more likely to divorce or separate from their spouses than are those without sexual abuse histories. Sexual abuse survivors typically report having fewer friends, less interpersonal trust, less satisfaction in their relationships, more maladaptive interpersonal patterns and greater discomfort, isolation, and interpersonal sensitivity. It is said that adults victimized as children may see themselves as unworthy of relationships with people they consider good or healthy, and that some victims may attempt to gain mastery over the abuse experience by recreating it in the form of involvement in poor or abusive relationships.
