Introduction     The use of email and blogs in an ESL classroom can have it’s advantages but also has it’s disadvantages, I will be presenting some examples of both. An email is a system to send mail using the internet, is a new experience of  information and communication. Advantages in the use of an emailEmails allows individuals and groups to communicate to each other. There can be occasions when a job needs to be done and not everyone can make it at the same time. Emails help you to keep in touch with others and be        	   updated in the work  that has to be done.     		  People can be in contact through 			           email rather than face to face 			          meetings or repetitive phone 				calls.EMAILS
Disadvantages of an Email.Not everyone has internet.Your mail could be ignored or not answered in the moment you  ….required it.Students abbreviating and not learning to write the whole word.Lack of verbal communication not helping on the pronunciation of words.No social contact.disadvantages
Disadvantages in the use of email.The use of internet is crucial for now and days. students should learn how to use the basics. But not every school has internet or computers, for the learning of the students. When using the email there could be a lot of mails received and students won’t  read all so  ___   the mail can  be ignored. Students try to ____          write fast and don’t correct there ____                 grammar mistakes, the day they  __                  eventually have to write in a paper    _                    they can make the same mistakes.Disadvantages
Advantages of a blogNot tied to a class schedule.People can learn of the topics posted all over the world.Can be uses to express themselves and receive f----    feedback.Promotes critical thinking.Helps students in there writing skills, and learn the etiquettes used for the internet.Share articles, videos, opinions with people outside there community.Blogs
Disadvantages of a blogHas most of the same disadvantages as the email.Involves time to update and post things to the blog.Not all students will be interested in reading all posts in the blog.Some students will not adapt as others and can cause no participation.There is no confidentially.blogs
