The ADDIE model is an instructional design model consisting of 5 phases - Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The Analysis phase involves analyzing learners' needs and characteristics. The Design phase deals with learning objectives, assessments, and media selection. In the Development phase, instructional designers create content assets described in the design phase. The Implementation phase develops procedures for training facilitators and learners. Finally, the Evaluation phase consists of formative evaluation during each ADDIE phase and summative evaluation of the finished instructional program.
