This document provides instructions for using an activity, rest, and sleep diary to help self-manage fatigue for those with rheumatoid arthritis. It recommends coloring different periods of the day different colors to categorize activities by energy level: high energy in red, low energy in yellow, rest/chill out time in green, and sleep in blue. Examples are given of activities that could fall under each category, with the note that what is low or high energy depends on the individual and how involved they get in the activities.
