Remember :
The subject of the sentence is the doer of the
action.
An Active voice sentence directly tells who did
the action.
This form of a sentence is shorter compared to
the Passive Voice.

2. The cheese was eaten by the mouse yesterday.
3. The dinner has already been prepared by Jana.
4. The food will be taken out (by me).
6. A beautiful song was being sung when you arrived.
Grammar tip: The Passive Voice emphasizes the
action in the sentence.

Voice in the English language shows us two ways
how to explain our ideas by choosing between an
Active and a Passive Voice in composing sentences.
