To access the SAE Proficiency Application, a user must first log into their FFA.org account. They then follow 5 steps: 1) Visit FFA.org and log in, 2) Click "Open Dashboard" and then "Other Applications", 3) Click "Application Center" to access applications, 4) Select the type of application to add via a drop down menu, and 5) Begin completing the SAE Proficiency Application by clicking on it.

1. Accessing the SAE Proficiency Application
To access the application for the SAE proficiencies, you must be able to log into the
FFA.org website and gain access to the SAE Application Center.
The following steps will guide you through that process.
Step 1:
Visit www.ffa.org.
In the top right corner, it says log
into FFA.
Enter your log-in information.
Step 2:
Once logged in, click “Open
Dashboard” in the upper right hand
corner.
In the center of the page, the
second blue box should say apply now.
Click the “Other Applications” link.
Step 3:
This will bring you to a new page
with lots of options for applications.
Click on the “Application Center”
to gain access to the various
applications.

2. Step 4:
Upon entering the
Application center, in
the top center you can
add an application.
Via the drop down
menu, select the type of
application you would
like to create, either
Proficiency Application
or Research Proficiency
Application (only for
research based, science
projects).
Step 5:
Now you are
ready to begin
completing your SAE
Proficiency Application.
Click on the application
to enter the basic setup
for that proficiency.

applications started, be
sure to select the
correct one.
