Abstract

The study investigated the effects of automation on library services at the University of Education Library using qualitative and quantitative methods including interviews, documents, and observations. The study found that both staff and students were aware of and eager for automation, as it helped complete assignments, research, and learning. Automation affected the management and operations of the library. There was also a need for training staff and users on the automation facilities. The study concluded that periodic assessments are needed to adopt strategies to improve performance and ensure effective and efficient service delivery. It recommended adequate education during implementation, teamwork in managing the new system, training programs for all affected users, and periodic reviews considering customer satisfaction.

Objective structured clinical exams (OSCEs) or station-based clinical competency assessments are commonly used in health professions education because they offer an opportune method of evaluating student performance in both clinical skills, knowledge, and performance. Typically, these types of assessments are logistically complex and require weeks of planning in order to run smoothly. In years past, Western University of Health Sciences – College of Dental Medicine (WUCDM) administered its OSCEs and station-based exams using a paper format, which requires a multitude of resources, lengthy grading period, and inability to track student learning outcomes. ExamSoft has served as a solution for the administration of fully electronic station-based assessments, resulting in the elimination of paper, minimization of time spent planning, and a quicker turnaround of grades and feedback to the students. With the advent of the electronic national licensure examination for dental schools, this webinar can guide you in developing and administering your own OSCEs through ExamSoft.

attributes which should be improved or developed in
Apemkislamets application. The approach used is WebQual.
WebQual is a quality measurement approach for websites or
applications through user perceptions based on three dimensions:
Usability, information quality and services interaction quality.
The population in this study is Apilikasi Apemkislamets users
with the number of samples taken as much as 321 respondents by
convinience sampling. The research method used is survey with
questionnaire based on WebQual 4.0 that analyzed with IPA
(Importance Performance Analysis) to know the level of user
satisfaction which is gap between importance and performance.
The results of validity and reliability test show the whole item
questionnaire valid and reliable. The results showed that 18 items
analyzed by IPA method were grouped into Quadrant I (1 item),
Quadrant II (5 items), Quadrant III (9 items) and Quadrant IV
(3 items). Items that are considered important and need to be
located lies in the first quadrant is Design in accordance with the
type of application of Learning Administration. The result of
double correlation analysis also shows a strong correlation
between independent variable and dependent in this research.
Research Engineering In Nursing: What Impedes Nurses In Their Research The Most?
Objective: Findings of our study contribute to a greater awareness of the research engineering importance and research activities in general in the educational process and programs that offer education for nurses. Studying the factors that impede nurses in their research the most has been our research field. Methods: The study was based on quantitative research methodology. Results: The most impeding factor for nurses is the lack of training and education for different types of research in their professional practices. Next factor is education about the research approaches during their studies with lack of methodological assistance in the research coming in as third. Conclusion: The study is important for further reflection on how to arrange and update the education programs and further professional training with skills and expertise of research engeneering in nursing of future nurses in Slovenia and elsewhere. This is the new approach how to construct nursing research and translating its evidence-based findings into clinical practice that can improve nursing standards as well as overall clinical care.
Analyzing The University Canteen Performance A Case Study
This document summarizes a study that used simulation to analyze the performance of a university canteen with two counters. Data on inter-arrival times and service times was collected from 200 students during lunch hours over five days. The queuing system was modeled in Rockwell Arena simulation software. The simulation results showed that on average students waited 2.35 minutes at counter 1 and 3.03 minutes at counter 2. Doubling the resources at both counters could reduce average wait times to 0.68 minutes and 0.89 minutes respectively. The findings suggest improving customer service by opening an additional counter during lunch or redesigning the layout.
Factor analysis of service quality in university libraries in sri lanka
This document summarizes a research study that examined factors influencing service quality in university libraries in Sri Lanka. The researchers administered a questionnaire to 232 users across 3 universities. Exploratory factor analysis identified 4 key factors that accounted for 50.3% of the variance in perceptions of service quality: 1) convenient opening hours, 2) current information, 3) collection comprehensiveness, and 4) convenient access to collection. The study aimed to develop an empirical model of service quality for university libraries in Sri Lanka.

ABSTRACT: The empirical analysis generally showed that the implementation of the Integrated Quality Management System is not effective at the College as management needs to ensure that performance management is conducted properly for improved results. The study suggests that the College should ensure that employee’s day-to-day activities are aligned to the organisation’s objectives. In addition, the staff development programmes should be informed by the output from performance evaluation to address barriers which hinder effective curriculum delivery. This study explored the understandings, views and experience of the academics of the College in the implementation of the Integrated Quality Management System. The general observation is that the system is not effectively implemented at the College. Continuous poor work at the College shows that performance management is not effectively implemented. The study was conducted using a questionnaire to gather data that was then analysed to produce findings through given objectives. The findings were then used to come up with strategies for effective implementation for academic growth that will hopefully improve the throughput and certification rates. The empirical analysis generally showed that the implementation of the Integrated Quality Management System is not effective at the College as management needs to ensure that performance management is conducted properly for improved results.

Reliability and validity were analyzed through pilot study and the results were given.
Analysis Of College Enrollment System Using Six-Sigma (DMAIC) Methodology

Abstract
- 1. ABSTRACT<br />The study investigated the effects of automation on library services in University of Education Library. It looked at relevance of automation to the staff and users, the benefits, effects, on management, operations, training and performance. The researcher used a case study approach, with qualitative and quantitative methods. This includes interview, documentary source and personal observation. The population was 80 for the staff, 120students, 11 lecturers and 3 supporting staff. Convenience sampling was used. Questionnaire was administered to respondents at the University of Education Library, Computer Laboratories and offices of lecturers at their convenience.<br />The major findings revealed significant awareness and urgency of automation among staff and students; I.C.T. facilitates the completion of assignments, lesson notes, research and learning. The study also showed that automation affected management and operations of the library. The study also revealed training needs of staff and users of automation facilities in the library. It concluded that the effectiveness and efficiency in the service delivery could be achieved through periodic assessment which aims at adopting strategies for improvement of performance.<br />The result prompted the following recommendations: The need for adequate education and orientation in the implementation process; teamwork approach in the management of the new system; training programmes for all users who will be affected by the system and finally a periodic review that will take customers’ satisfaction into consideration. <br />
