FAMILY FINANCIAL STATUS AND STUDENTS’ ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTION: THE MEDIATOR...IAEME Publication
The paper investigated whether entrepreneurship education mediates the
relationship between students’ family financial status income and their
entrepreneurial intentions or not. Family financial status is defined in this study in
terms of parent’s annual income. Questionnaire was employed to collect data from a
total sample of 320 final year under graduate students of higher education institutions
in Northern Nigeria. The students were selected by using multi-stage stratified random
sampling technique. Mediation analysis using PROCESS MACRO was employed and
bootstrapping technique was used to test the hypothesis of the study. The result
indicates that Family Financial Status (FFS) is indirectly related to students’
Entrepreneurial Intentions (EI) through its relationship with Entrepreneurship
Education (EE). First, the result showed that Family Financial Status had significant
effect on Entrepreneurship Education, and the observed effect on Entrepreneurship
Education was subsequently related to higher Entrepreneurial Intention. The
bootstrap samples indicated that the indirect effect of Family Financial Status on
students’ Entrepreneurial Intentions through Entrepreneurship Education was
completely above zero, which led us to conclude that Entrepreneurship Education
mediates the relationship between Family Financial Status and Student’
Entrepreneurial Intentions. The study recommends that entrepreneurship education
should be encouraged as it proves to be a powerful stimulant for promoting
entrepreneurship intention among students

This study provides a gender analysis of public sector budgets in education sector of Pakistan. An indepth analysis of pre-primary to secondary level education budgetary allocations and spending at federal and provincial (Punjab and Sindh) levels for the period of 2016-18 has been conducted through a gender lens. The research methodology is based on four key instruments, which help in systematically approaching our research questions. These instruments include review of existing secondary information and data, key informant interviews, stakeholder consultations, and a detailed review of budgetary processes. The study reveals gender disparity in out-of-school children at primary level. According to the study, 47 per cent boys as opposed to 58 per cent girls in Sindh whereas 39 per cent boys as opposed to 41 per cent girls were out-of-school in the Punjab. The study also finds noticeable gender disparities in budgetary allocations. The study concludes that in order to ensure sufficient allocations to promote girls’ education, the budget making process needs to be reconfigured. The gender lens should be introduced at a very early stage where budget call circulars are being sent to the departments concerned.

IRJET- Framework for Improving Quality and Ranking of Higher Educational ...IRJET Journal
This document discusses issues facing higher education institutions in India and proposes a framework to improve quality and rankings. It notes that while India has seen impressive growth in higher education institutions and enrollment, challenges remain around access, faculty shortages, infrastructure, research quality, and ensuring education meets employer needs. The objectives are to analyze India's higher education growth, identify current issues, and suggest strategies to drive quality improvement and better global rankings. The research is based on a literature review of government reports, research works, and other secondary sources. Key issues identified include the need for institutions to balance quality enhancement with accountability, adopt quality assurance processes, and strategically plan research and teaching to meet evaluation standards and position themselves competitively in rankings.
The document discusses the present scenario and need for foreign direct investment in higher education in India. It notes that while India has a long history of higher education, modern universities were only established in 1857 and there were just 20 universities and 500 colleges at independence in 1947. Currently there are over 600 universities but the gross enrollment ratio remains low at 18.8%, below many other countries. The government aims to increase this to 30% by 2020 but lacks the resources, creating a need for private investment. Allowing foreign investment could help meet targets by improving infrastructure, technology, and quality of education, but it may also risk commercializing education and benefitting foreign countries more than India.
This document summarizes a study examining teacher rationalization and placement in primary schools in Sindh, Pakistan following COVID-19 school closures. The study finds that in some districts, teacher ratios are too high, while in others teachers are clustered in urban areas, leaving rural schools understaffed. The study recommends rationalizing teacher placements to redistribute teachers more evenly according to student enrollment. This would close schools currently lacking teachers and lower teacher-student ratios across districts to improve education quality during the pandemic and beyond.
The document discusses primary education in India. It notes that while India has made progress towards universal primary education, many challenges remain. Approximately 20% of Indian children aged 6-14 are still not enrolled in school. For those who are enrolled, the quality of education is generally poor, with most students failing to attain basic literacy and numeracy levels. Factors like a lack of properly trained teachers, low standards, and an overemphasis on rote learning rather than conceptual understanding are cited as contributing to the low quality of primary education in India. Overall, the document suggests that improving the system and focus on developing children's skills and knowledge will be important to address this ongoing issue.
Engineering a Woman: Marketing Opportunities and Challenges in IndiaPrashant Mahajan
Equity does not just mean an equal number of women and
men; it means equal chances of success and career
development; average women will succeed as much as average
men. The Indian governments initiatives like National Program
for Education of Girls at Elementary Level (NPEGEL),
Rashtriya Mahilakosh (RMK), Kasturba Gandhi Balika
Vidyalaya (KGBV), Working Women Hostels, National
Mission for Empowerment of Women (NMEW), Sarva
Shiksha Abhiyan shall be extended and oriented further more
towards engineering education for the dream come true of
Digital India and Smart Cities with more encouragement of
women in engineering. The strategic marketing aim must be to
‘normalize’ engineering as a career choice for women, so that
people inside and outside of engineering no longer presume
that ‘the engineer’ will be men. Marketing efforts to recruit
more women into engineering must avoid appealing to gender
which associate men and masculinity with ‘things technical’
and women with ‘things social’. In sum, we must broaden the
image and vision of engineering work from technical to
techno-social if we are to attract and keep talented women in
engineering. Engineering has room for diverse ‘types’ of
people because it incorporates a wide variety of jobs and roles.
Women engineering education is a multi-dimensional
phenomenon; marketing efforts to attract women in
engineering shall not be limited to the institutes/service
providers, but it shall be responsibility of the government,
NGOs and community as a whole, for India to be Super Power.
If engineering education is a signifier of development, it
should incorporate a gender perspective to it. Perhaps then, we
will see more women enjoying success and fully participating in engineering education.
By The People For The People: People’s Influence On Students In Selecting Tec...Prashant Mahajan
The marketing segmentation of technical education will be better if we consider these reference groups (people mix) as an influencer. It is found that there are some People Mix - influencers - related to the institute and previous schools along with peoples associated with the students. So, it is useful to consider all these influencers rather than considering only traditional students related influencers. This article provides empirical support for the importance of interpersonal influence for educational choices. Different communication strategies can be used for these influencers who motivates students towards their decision in selecting technical education. The paper represents new form of influencers that motivates students in selecting their technical educational institute.
WHY WE NEED TO RE-ENGINEER OUR HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS?Saurabh Chandra
1) Indian higher education has grown significantly since independence but institutions still struggle with weaknesses and failing to meet changing needs.
2) The system needs re-engineering to address major issues like inadequate research output, funding and quality compared to countries like the US and China.
3) The UK higher education system is one model that India could study and draw from given its world-class reputation, to help reform governance and management techniques in Indian institutions.

Attitude of Secondary School Teachers towards Equitable Education in Coimbato...ijtsrd
Equitable Education System was proposed in the state of Tamil Nadu. It was felt that by following this education system we could afford impartial education to all school children irrespective of region such as rural and urban, upper and lower caste, and religion etc. This new system of education came into existence after a lot of oppositions, obstacles and confusions. Determining attitude and efforts to advance a new system of education is very much essential. Attitude of teachers, students and parents about a new educational system influences the choices and national development. Teachers and parents have a supreme responsibility in the mental and physical growth of the students. Their attitude is one of the most important variables in the education of children. Successful and effective implementation of a new system of education depends upon the knowledge of teachers and their positive attitudes towards it. Thus, the study of teachers' attitude towards Equitable Education becomes indispensable to the implementation plans. These observations initiated the investigator to undertake the present study, “Attitude of Secondary School Teachers towards Equitable Education in Coimbatore District†G. Jayanthi | Dr. K.

K. A Study on Importance of Guidance and Counseling Services in Secondary School...ijtsrd
The researcher found it necessary to establish the role of guidance and counseling. The findings are illustrated in table. Guidance and counseling services are essential elements in discipline management of people in all societies. This paper reviews the guidance and counseling at schools across the India. “The Guidance programmed assumes a lot of importance for secondary schools as the Indian society is undergoing rapid change, socially as well as economically coupled with the changes in the values and life style of people”. Consequently round pegs are inserted in square holes and square pegs at round holes, resulting in wastage of human services. Due to this reason it is therefore necessary to have well organized guidance program to remove the defect. Society itself and its demand are continuously changing and becoming more and more complex and without any guidance program it is not possible for a child to cope with the changing society. P. A Study of Anxiety in Relation to Academic Achievement among Higher Secondary...ijtsrd
Our education mainly stresses to develop cognitive aspect which deals with knowledge and to some extent develop cognitive aspect which deals with motor skills. The affective aspect which deals with emotions, feelings and sentiments of the child is totally neglected by our Education. For developing the child emotionally and socially mature, only formal education is not enough but informal education which the child gets from his family and society is also needed. In the past years, there has been extensive research on various approaches of teaching in secondary education. But no one method or approach has been found consistently superior to all. It reveals the fact that no single approach can be best suited to all the students. The most important question is to determine which students achieve more and under what conditions and also the factors which affect the achievement. An emerging area of research that holds promise in helping us to answer these questions is student's level of general mental ability in anxiety and emotional adjustment. Researchers and educationists are now attempting a thorough work in the area of general anxiety and emotional adjustment and found it a very potential one in influencing the student's academic achievement. LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
