Dr. Ram Kumar organized a health check-up camp at Shiv Shakti Ragunath Mandir in Delhi to promote homeopathy. The camp was held on August 24, 2014 from 10AM to 2PM in collaboration with Vanaprasth Foundation. A team of doctors from the Directorate of AYUSH and a homeopathic medical college provided checkups such as blood glucose and ECG tests to around 200 patients. Patients were prescribed homeopathic medicines and informed about follow-up care.

A larger study is underway to capture responses from emergency and repeat surgery patients as well.

Assess the Knowledge on Psychoactive Substance Abuse among Adolescents
Substance abuse is a social problem in the entire world. The problem of substance abuse is growing in explosive manor. It has spread every part of the world’s all race, caste, religion, sex educational status etc. The adolescents are the most vulnerable group of substance abuse as compared to other population. The aim of the study to assess the knowledge of pyschoactive substance abuse among adolescents. A quantitative research approach with descriptive research design was adopted for the present study.100 samples were selected by using purposive sampling technique. A structured questionnaire was used to collect demographic variable. In clinical variable self structured questionnaires was used to collect data from adolescent age group between 12 18 .In result it This study shows that 65 65 had moderately adequate knowledge, 30 30 had inadequate knowledge and 5 5 had adequate knowledge on psycho active substance abuse among adolescents. The findings of the study revealed that, it is evident that majority of the adolescents had inadequate to moderate knowledge on psycho active substance abuse and they need to be educated about the ill effects of substance and their impact on their studies and the family. Association camp organisation
The Delhi Govt. Homoeopathic Medical Officers' Welfare Association (DGHMOWA) organized their first preventive health check-up camp on September 10, 2017 at Durga Mandir. Several DGHMOWA doctors and staff helped organize and run stations for registration, blood pressure checks, eye exams, ECGs, blood samples, medicine preparation and patient counseling. Over 100 beneficiaries attended and received free medical screenings and homoeopathic preventive advice. The successful event was covered in a local newspaper and the doctors look forward to organizing another camp in the future.

- 1. Health check up Camp at Shiv Shakti Ragunath Mandir,Budh Vihar phase-2,Delhi-86 By Dr Ram kumar M.D Senior medical officer Homoeopathic wing Dte.of AYUSH
- 2. The Health check up camp that was organized in collaboration with Vanaprasth foundation on 24th August 2014 at Shiv shakti Ragunath Mandir,Budh vihar phaseII, Delhi- 86 from 10AM to 2 Noon for the promotion of Homoeopathy.It was exclusively a Homoeopathy camp.
- 4. Team • Dr Jyoti Goswami,CDMO,Dr.Sudha bala,CMO, Dr Ram kumar,SMO, along with pharmacist Sh.Amit kumar from Directorate of AYUSH participated in the camp. • From Dr BR SUR Homoeopathic medical college Dr Madhu, professor,Dr Archana,Reader and Dr Satya jain along with with the team of 6 interns participated. • Three private practioners also participated.
- 10. • Routine health check ups of patientsalong with blood glucose random ,ECG where found necessary was done. • Around 200 patients availed the medical facility at the camp and were prescribed homoeopathic medicines and were informed about the nearby phc and hospital unit for further checkups and follow ups.
