2. Minutes of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) held on 28.09.2017

Second CME of EAST, NORTH-EAST and Shahdara Zone was held on 28-09-2017
at DHAS, Karkardooma under the aegis of Dr. Ashok Sharma, CMO (SAG), CDMO
of said zones.
The topic of CME was “Temperament of children”. The speaker, Dr. Ashok
Sharma, dwelt upon the Personality of a person containing Temperament,
constitution & character. These three components are inter-related with each
other.
Temperament develops from procedural learning and manifests through
different habit systems like- Harm avoidances, Novelty seeking, Rewarded
dependence etc.
Main psychological structure of a person depends upon Temperament,
character & psyche.
The speaker discussed about different kinds of Temperament of children, which
he encountered in the course of his practice in IHBAS, from point of view of
different stalwart’s viz. Sir Kessan, Mc Call, Allport etc

3. Temperament is that aspect of personality which includes mood, activity level
and emotions.
Modern concept of Temperament was discussed thoroughly with variants of
Temperament like melancholic , Choleric ,Sanguine & phlegmatic.
For better homeopathic treatment, understanding the exact Temperament of
the child is essential. Few important mental symptoms with or without
physical complaint as propounded by different homeopathic stalwarts was
discussed for better understanding.
