1. A zonal meeting was held on August 28, 2017 for homeopathic doctors in the East Zone to discuss improving patient care and clinical management. 2. Key topics discussed included focusing on improving dispensary functioning, reducing diagnosis time, making practice more evidence-based, and establishing homeopathy as the primary treatment. 3. Attendees shared experiences from their dispensaries on developing rapport with patients, the role of diet/regimen, improving diagnostics, and gaining exposure to special clinics.

3. The highlights of talk were 1- To Improve functioning
at the dispensary level. 2- The chart depicting the areas
we need to focus and improve. 3- To reduce the choice
reaction time of disease and remedy diagnosis. 4- To
make our practice more result oriented and evidence
based. 5- To make homoeopathy the first line of
treatment.
Platform for interaction and time was provided to each
and every GDMO, to share the method of prescription
and method of management of the cases at their
respective dispensaries.

4. During the course of the meeting all the GDMOs shared their
experiences and ways of practice adopted in their respective
dispensaries.
The points expressed by the various doctors were: 1-To allow
the patient to express or vent out his feelings or suppressed
emotions. 2- To be strict with patients as and when required
for compliance. 3- To develop rapport with patient or develop
the feeling of being available to him. 4- Role of auxiliary
management, diet and regimen.5- The need to provide and
improve diagnostic aids. 6- To improve diagnostic and
therapeutic knowledge. 7- Experiences about new ventures
like cancer institute and infertility clinic. 8- To make
certain planning to reduce waste of time. 9- Many GDMO’s
want to work on Special clinics at the OPD level.10- Demand
of exposure to special clinic’s at IBHAS and other special
clinics by most of the GDMO’s.
