This paper discusses the design of a real-time DC motor speed controller utilizing a microcontroller-based network system, specifically the C505C microcontroller. It employs a closed-loop control algorithm based on the PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) method, using serial communication and the CAN (Controller Area Network) protocol to maintain constant motor speed. The system's architecture is detailed, including experimental results on controller effectiveness and integration into modern automotive applications.
