This document summarizes the grading system and process used by DepEd (Department of Education) in the Philippines. It outlines: 1. The weights given to different assessment components (written works, performance tasks, quarterly assessments) for various subjects and grade levels. 2. The steps for computing a student's grade, which includes calculating percentage scores and weighted scores for each component, adding the weighted scores to get an initial grade, and transmuting the initial grade using a conversion table. 3. That for MAPEH (Music, Arts, Physical Education, Health), the quarterly grade is calculated as the average of the grades in each individual subject.
