1. Meeting Minutes
Wednesday 30th November
Today, we had a group meeting for an hour & 40 minutes in our media classroom. As a
group, we discussed and decided our final song choice. Before, we had already decided that
our song would be chosen from the famous pop girl band ‘The Saturdays’. This is because,
from the feedback we received from our classmates when we presented our proposal, they
told us they thought it was best to create a music video of one of ‘The Saturdays’ songs
because we are a group of girls and would represent the girl band and would fit with any of
the songs.
We was them contemplating on whether to use the song ‘Ego’ or ‘Up’, both by ‘The
Saturdays’. We finally chose the song ‘Ego’ as we thought we will be able to create a strong
storyline and have lots of creative ideas for the video. We decided not to choose ‘Up’
because we felt that we would not really be able to create much of a storyline to the song.
Also during this meeting, we made targets to meet/achieve by our next meeting which are;
we aim to create a storyboard, have a firm idea of what we will be doing in our music video
and we aim to sort out what lyrics we will be lip syncing.
Tuesday 6th December
Today, we had another group meeting for an hour & 40 minutes. We started our storyboard
and in the progress of deciding what we will be doing in the music video, what the scenes
are and who will be in what scene. By the end of the meeting we had a firm idea of what the
narrative of the music video will be and who will be playing what role and what scene they
will be in.
Wednesday 7th December
We had a group meeting today, where we were finishing our storyboard and discussed the
next steps of what we are going to do next. We discussed who will lip sync the different
lyrics and who will perform each scene. We decided for the performative scenes these will
be performed in the studio, which all four of us will take part in. We decided the narrative
scenes will be filmed in a bedroom in a garden for specific scenes.
Friday 9th December
Today, we had a little meeting for about half hour where we finished our storyboard and
then carried on discussing the music video, making sure we all were aware of what we are
doing and what we have left to do.

2. Wednesday 28th December
We met up in the Christmas holidays to discuss our costumes for the scenes and we decided
we will be having a few change of clothes. For the performative scenes, we decided we
would dress up and look quite glamorous, we will be wearing dresses and heels, we will all
be wearing different colour dresses and we will each have an assigned colour to make us
stand out. For the narrative scenes, our clothing is more casual and laidback, so we will be
wearing clothes such as jeans and jumpers.
We also decided our props such as the video camera, tripod, a professional camera, we may
need to use the big portable lights if we have poor lighting in any of the rooms we are using.
Other props will be the microphones, a telephone, a bed, matches and pictures.
We also discussed we will be auditioning boys to play the male part of the scenes a couple
of days before the filming.
Friday 6th January
In this meeting, we discussed who we have to audition for the male parts in the music video,
we have 4 boys from outside of school to audition, these are Anthony, Krish, Annas and
Ugur. Today, we also booked out the studio for Wednesday 11th with the media technicians
from 1.30 until 4.45 and we also booked out the video camera, tripod and professional
camera for our music video.
Tuesday 10th January
Today, we had a little meeting where we discussed and went through what we will need to
do in the studio. We discussed that we will need to take photos for our digipack and
magazine advert, take photos of the studio, equipment and props, take photos of the scene,
film our performative scenes and film a video diary and film behind the scenes.
Wednesday 11th January
