PITCH FEEDBACK
By Tarun Verma
Overview

Overall, our pitch was really informative and
interesting. We made it using ‘Prezi’ and we tried to
make it consist of everything. Our pitch lasted about
27 minutes and we were supposed to do it in about 15
minutes and that shows how much detail we went
into. We almost lost the audience’s attention
sometimes but regained it as we made the pitch
enjoyable by include pictures, videos and music.
Feedback

The feedback we got from our audience was expected as our film
opening planned was way too long to fit into 2 minutes, we had all sorts
of crazy ideas such as someone being killed and stalked but this simply
could not be put into the start of the film. When our teacher quizzed us
about the timing issue, I stepped in and improvised; explaining how we
are going to change this and only include an opening sequence of
introducing the characters and them walking to school, we also will
show the two characters to be binary oppositions. My teacher seemed to
agree and praised us for including everything in detail and we ended our
pitch on a good note.
What have I learnt

Having presented the pitch I learnt a lot as the
feedback really helped my group to get back into track
and meet the requirements of having a short film
opening, rather than a lengthy one with too much for
the audience to handle.
