Production Process Evaluation
Research
I looked up podcasts on comparing different TV shows
and thought about how they started and ended etc.
Time Management
I think I managed my time well, I stuck to my
schedule and used time outside lessons to
record my audio and also work on my script.
I made sure I recorded it when there would be
no distractions in my house.
Planning
I planned well. I made sure I got all the sound
effects and had put them in the order I needed.
I wrote the whole script and made sure I
compared the similarities and differences
between the Disney’s Peter Pan and The Once
Upon a time’s version well.
Technical Qualities
The sound Quality was good but needed to have
the Voice over a little louder. The sound effects
worked well and the background music was
edited well but between sound effects they
seem a little “Jumpy” as I did not know about
fades. There were no distracting noises even
though it was recorded at home.
Aural Qualities
The quality of the voice and incidental music
mixed with the sound effects were good.
The joints between music and effects could have
been smoother in places.
Overall the delivery was well received.
Audience Appeal
The feedback I received was mainly positive.
I made sure the music fitted well to add to the
magical feel which would have appealed to my
young teenage audience. It helped people to
connect and link with the films.
I varied the music from the 2003 Peter Pan,
Disney’s Peter Pan and also the Pan pies from Once
Upon a Time.

I would make the transitions smoother between effects
and music to make the podcast flow a little better and I
would rehearse and work out how long the pauses
between points and paragraphs need to be.
