Production Process Evaluation
Research
Strengths
• The radio 1 Research helped a lot as
id gave a better example of how a
flow of conversation would go in a
radio production as apposed to a
real life conversation and how to
separate and portion my time
between games.
• The innuendo bingo source was
useful as it help provide a fun and
entertaining game for the audience
which they may try at home.
• Though the sources were limited
the information I had was extremely
useful and used to its full potential.
Weaknesses
• There were very few sources that were
relevant to my project
• There were only aspect of certain
sources I could use due to the
irrelevance of the source
Planning
Strengths
• A group of 3 made it easier to
sort times and availability for the
studio.
• Planning helped the product as
without our overall organization
we would not have reached the
deadline.
Weaknesses
• Booking the studio was difficult as well
as rebooking it to correct, make
changes, or to fill in missing data.
• Organising was difficult as it took
multiple attempts to have a set time for
the studio.
• Had we have booked the studio earlier
we would have had more time for
improvement.
Time Management
• Unfortunately the time was not managed as well as it could have been
resulting in the final project being rushed and subjected to a few minor
errors and faults as well.
• If I had more time I would improve the final project by adding more song
intros and possibly sound effect to make the show stand out and hook
people looking for something good to listen to.
Technical Qualities
– My product was slightly similar to the radio one
source as it we had a healthy flow of general
conversation which lead into a radio game.
– The differences lie in the lack of music on the radio
one source .
– My product was similar to the Twenty One Pilots
source as I explained In the research element of the
radio project that this is the kind of music we will be
playing and we did exactly that .
– The differences lie in the lack of radio elements in the
Twenty One Pilots source.
Aural Qualities
• I edited the music to adapt to my show and in
that process I think I was creative and made
the music sound good.
• I like the music in my radio show and some of
the transitions from the conversation to the
music.
• Some of the song could have had been edited
more to sound smoother.
Audience Appeal
• I believe I appealed to my target audience
through the music and my content such as the
radio game and talk of the music college.
• Twenty One Pilots Tomsize Remix and Panic! at
the Disco specifically appealed to my Target
audience as the artists are popular with the
particular audience
