3. Research
For the strengths I would say that combining the
interviews and the survey results I got great and
consistent results, it didn’t help with my product
much the only thing that was helpful was with the
best target audience. But for a disadvantage it
takes a long time to get the results. There is
nothing I could of done better besides getting it
done sooner because I was a little bit behind. This
did effect it later because at the end I was further
behind than I originally thought.
4. Planning
For the strengths I would say would be the final
mind map because it is nice and neat, this made it
easier to follow. The weakness would be the first
mind map because it was a big cluster and quite
difficult to follow so that could have been
improved upon. If that was done it would have
been completed quicker.
5. Time Management
I don’t think I managed my time well because
most of the things I had to do felt rushed and was
not made to the best of my ability's. I almost
completed it on time it was the video game that
slowed everything down so towards the end it felt
really rushed. If I had addition time I would have
improved the video game because the main details
didn’t fit with it.
6. Technical Qualities
There aren’t many similarity's the only ones
are that the characters are the same and it’s
based in the Titan forest.
7. Aesthetic Qualities
It doesn’t look
as good as I
hoped. But
what I think
does look good
is the
character
model. The
bits that can
be improved if
I had more
time are, more
dense trees,
less dense
bushes at the
bottom and
more detail
within the
trees.
I find that the
strengths are, the
character model
and the design of
the trees. The
weaknesses I find
that the bushes at
the bottom appear
too flat and to
cluttered.
8. Audience Appeal
I have appealed
this to attack on
titan fans and
retro gamers.
I would say that
since this includes
the Titan forest,
Titans and Connie
Springer this
would appeal to
attack on titan
fans. I have made
it in 8-bit so this
appeals to retro
gamers.
With my questionnaire most of
people preferred RPG and action
games, were aged under 18 and the
preferred medium to hard difficulty
for games.
10. Feedback 1
What did you like about the product?
The fact that you made a game based on Attack on Titan
and you used correct references to the manga/anime.
What improvements could have been made to the
product?
More detail with the background as it is just one colour
and more smoke animations.
11. Feedback 2
What did you like about the product?
I like that it’s a retro video game based off of a very
popular anime series and The character is running from a
unstoppable threat.
What improvements could have been made to the
product?
More variation within the Titans appearance.
12. Feedback 3
What did you like about the product?
I like that you were inspired by the manga Attack on Titan
and made clear references to it.
What improvements could have been made to the
product?
Make all the Titans look different, add more detail to the
background and trees.
13. Peer Feedback Summary
What do you agree with from your peer feedback?
I agree that more detail needs to be added to the trees,
background and the smoke.
What do you disagree with from your peer feedback?
I don’t disagree with anything they have said every point
they have made I would have changed if I had more time.
14. Peer Feedback Summary
If I had more time I would add more detail to the
trees background and the smoke; make the trees
more dense but make the bushes at the bottom
less dense and add a bottom layer, so it looks like
you would be seeing it from a side view.
I would do all of this to make the product more
appealing.
