1. Production Reflection

2. Process
• Firstly I got my
background from Google
images so that I could
make my music magazine
slightly more colourful to
entice my audience to
buy it. It also makes a
difference from usual
music magazines as most
magazines have a plain
white background with an
artist in the middle.

3. Process
• Next I added my photo of
Adam Levine from
Maroon 5 as I wanted to
use him as my artist due
to his current change in
music. Also his latest song
has over 173,612,454
views on YouTube.

4. Process
• After I got my photo I
made my title and
changed its colour to pink
to make it look as though
my magazine was not just
for boys but for all
genders.
• I also made my title pink
to so that it was a change
from a more dull black
text.

5. Process
• After my title I wanted to
add some info on what
was going to be inside my
magazine so I added a
couple of artists names in
green down the left and
‘top 5 solo artists’ down
the right to get people
interested in seeing who
the artists were and what
info/gossip was said
inside the magazine.

6. Process
• For the final slide I had to
put a barcode on the
magazine so I placed it at
the bottom right of the
page so my audience and
anyone interested in the
magazine may purchase it
at the shop.

7. Process
• So to begin my
double page spread
I got a picture of Ed
Sheeran’s new
album (Divide) and
inked the colour so
that half of my page
was the same colour
as his album.

8. Process
• After getting the
colour I got a picture
of Ed (top right) and
added the details of
when his new album
would be released
and the name of
two new released
songs he has added
to it.

9. Process
• I then wanted a
picture of him
holding his guitar as
that’s what he plays
as an instrument,
and wrote abit
about his upcoming
events in the uk, as
Ed Sheeran is mainly
basing his concerts
and events around
the Uk, in places
such as Manchester
and London.

10. Process
• After I had
completed my first
side, I wanted to put
Adam Levine on the
other page as he is
on my front cover,
So I took a picture
from the internet
and deleted the
background image
so that it was just
him.

11. Process
• I then decided I
want to add a
colourful
background as I
thought that would
be a nice way to
make the page stand
out. I then wrote
about how his music
has changed since
last year.

12. Process
• Then I decided to
write about some
upcoming events
(only in America)
that were coming in
February.

13. Process
• After I had finished
the page I thought
that the text at the
top may have been
abit hard to read so I
used the lasso tool
to get an area of the
page and changed
the contrast to turn
it grey, which made
the writing easier to
read and it looks
good at the same
time.
