This document describes the formulation and evaluation of an antifungal cream containing garlic oil and tulsi oil. The goal of the study was to formulate a cream with a
composition for treating fungal skin infections and which
enhances skin properties. This formulation belongs to a
medicinal cream that has two antifungal active components.
It reveals a formula for treating fungal skin infections, as
well as other components that can help improve skin issues.
For skin infections, the topical approach is the best option.
Because of the numerous advantages over traditional routes
of drug administration, the development of topical drug
delivery systems with systemic effects appears to be
advantageous for a variety of medications. Garlic oil and
Tulsi oil Active pharmaceutical ingredients used to treat
fungal skin infections.

13. PROCEDURE:
1.Preparation of oil phase:
steryl alcohol,cetyl alcohol white beeswax , liquid
paraffin,petroleum gelly melted in beaker for temperature
65 to 70°c
2.Preparation of Aqueous phase:
Propylene glycol , triethonolamine, methyl paraben,
propyl paraben add in hot water and melted it.
3.develpoment:
Oil phase pour into aqueous phase and continue stirred
Then add garlic oil , Tulsi oil and then Orange peel oil and
again stirr it.And transfer into tightly closed container.

14. # Extraction of Oil
Oil of garlic and Tulsi will be extracted by the steam
distillation method by using the Soxhlet apparatus in
the laboratory. Garlic and Tulsi leaves cleaned properly
and separately filled in the Round bottom flask with
solvent arranged the assembly properly by attaching
Soxhlet apparatus and condenser and heat. The
obtained oils are separated and fill in an airtight
container.
