In conjunction with CPC Learning, the Transfer Project hosted a webinar to present new and ongoing work on the impacts of cash transfers on protection and well-being outcomes for women and children.
First, Amber Peterman explores the impacts of social protection and cash transfers on intimate partner violence and violence against children in low- and middle income settings.
Tia Palermo then goes on to discuss cash plus approaches and violence reduction in Ghana, as well as pathways of economic security, intra-household conflict and women’s empowerment.
Finally, Jacob de Hoop focuses on cash transfer programs supporting the school participation of displaced Syrian children in Jordan and Lebanon and explore impacts on child education, labor and well-being.

Long-term housing is more effective than short-term housing at reducing homelessness. Short-term housing often requires abstinence from drugs and alcohol or compliance with rules, but many homeless individuals with substance abuse problems or mental illness are unable to meet these requirements and end up back on the streets. Long-term housing in the form of the Housing First approach places individuals directly into permanent housing with no preconditions and then provides support services. Studies have found Housing First programs achieve housing retention rates of 80-90% over two years and significantly reduce homelessness in cities where implemented.

Early childhood education is one of the specialization areas that had its issues presented in Mayo Keller’s taskforce. As a member of the taskforce specializing in early childhood education, I will present to the taskforce programs that need improvement for the ultimate goal of advancing the sector. One program that need to be evaluated and improved for change is the enrollment program into early childhood education. The goal of the program is to increase enrollment and improve participation of young learners in early childhood education. The enrollment of children aged 3 to 5 years into early childhood education has significantly been declining in the Grand City area. The situation therefore calls for the stakeholders to look into the causes and solutions (Walden University, 2016). Parents, district education officers, mayor’s office, and early childhood educators are some of the stakeholders concerned with the program.

This report, produced in partnership with Whole Systems Partnership, is based on a project which reviewed the literature on predictive modelling, canvassed views and engaged with interested parties to formulate an initial response to the opportunities presented by predictive modelling approaches in identifying people likely to be nearing the end of life.
Predictive modelling involves the interrogation of datasets to inform professional judgement about potential needs. It is hoped that the findings of this report will be used to enable commissioners and providers of services to better understand and meet people's end of life care preferences and wishes, supporting more people to live and die well in their preferred place.

Avenues for Homeless Youth
Avenues for Homeless Youth operates four programs in the Twin Cities that provide shelter and transitional housing for over 200 homeless youth per year. The programs include a shelter in North Minneapolis, as well as GLBT, suburban, and Minneapolis host home programs. Host homes provide a safe, stable transitional housing option at 50% lower cost than congregate housing. They aim to build long-term supportive relationships critical for youth success. The host home model places homeless youth with volunteer community members who are trained and supported by program managers.

There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.

Odoo has a tool called Reception Report that can be used to complete this assignment. The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. However, the researchers call for acknowledging the broader Impact of these sacrifices on the future global movement of FreePalestine.
