2. 2020-2021
I will continue to study Media at College and aim to stretch
my creative horizons by watching as many different directors and
genres of films as I can in my spare time.
3. 2021-2022
I will continue my studies at College and start viewing and applying
for universities across the UK. I will look at universities in cities like
London and Leeds as they are great places to find work in the
industry after studying, and I will look at subjects such as
Filmmaking, and Film Production to get a feel for the more practical
side of things.
4. 2022-2023
I will (hopefully) be studying at university by 2022. I will also start to
plan and write my own short productions in my spare time to get a
portfolio built up. This would be the best time to start as I will have
experience and knowledge from College, and I will also be learning
more at University that I can apply to my own films.
As a backup, If I don't get into a university I will travel for a year,
make a travel film and use that to help me re-apply the year after.
5. 2023-2024
I will continue to study at University and also start trying to make
connections. I will go to local film festivals and events like QnA
sessions and independent screenings and try to get contacts of
people through this year who could be of benefit to my work and
who I could be of assistance to too.
6. 2024-2025
I will be in the last year of University, working towards graduation. I
will continue writing scripts and working in as many shorts as I can
and look to see if there's any media internships available to me or
runner roles I can start out with. This will help me gain experience
and also act as a gateway into film.
