go into apprenticeship because I would
like to gain more information and
knowledge about the career,
screenwriter. I will be able to work in a
workplace where I can learn how to
create different types of images to
create my storyline and practice my
writing skills to get better at making my
own storyline. I will do my work
experience for a year because I will take
a gap year after I leave sixth form to
focus more on practising my designs
and creating unique storylines. And the
gap year will give me time to look for
universities that specialise in media and
make sure I study in the media modules.

When I have finished work experience, I
will go to university to then get a degree
which I can find a job with. In university I
will be able to learn more about the
career of a screenwriter and receive a
degree which I can use to get into the
higher stages of the media industry and
therefore fulfil the goal of becoming a
popular screenwriter. Queen Mary’s
allows me to do arts where I can design
my characters for the storyline to create
my own programme.
2024 Full time job as a screenwriter Once I’ve finished further education and
received my degree in media studies, I
will find a job as a screenwriter and work
my way to becoming one of the best
screenwriters in the media industry.
Once I have found my job, I will be able
to start and create my own storyline
which I can publish in the future. I
already have the knowledge from the
schools I have studied in and I can use
this knowledge pursue my career as a
screenwriter.

2. My aspiration is Diablo Cody. Diablo Cody works in the
media industry as a ​screenwriter, producer, author and
journalist. Diablo Cody was born in America, Chicago, on
June 14, 1978. She has made numerous popular movies
such as, Juno (2007), Jennifer's body (2009), Young Adult
(2011), Paradise (2013), Ricki and the Flash (2015) and a
movie coming out in 2018, Tully.
For her debut script for her movie Juno (2007), she received awards such as, the
Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, the Independent Spirit Award for Best
First Screenplay, the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay
and BAFTA Award for Best Original Screenplay.
She has also been recognised for creating, writing and producing Showtime’s (an
American TV network) for a television series called United States of Tara
(2009-2011).
In her early life, she studied at the University of lowa where she got a media studies
degree. Cody had finished writing a book but was then encouraged to become a
screenwriter.
Cody is inspiring because when she was younger she did go to school and get a
degree but she made money from a poor job which she then decided to pursue the
career of becoming a screenwriter and now has made many famous movies which
she has also received countless rewards as people loved her ideas of the movies
she created.
