It describes how to view existing reports, create new reports from templates, and customize personal dashboards. IBM® Rational Team Concert™ uses the Eclipse Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) reporting engine. BIRT is an open-source reporting system that is based on Eclipse and that integrates with your Java™ or Java Enterprise Edition application to produce reports.
Jazz Team Server provides a data warehouse that report data is gathered from. The report engine reads a report template, gathers the needed data from the data warehouse, and generates a report.

In some reports, you can click the data bar and either another report opens or the related work items are displayed in the Work Items view.
An “About this report” section is at the bottom of each report. That section shows the date and time that the report was generated and includes more information about the intent and purpose of the report.

To creating custom reports by using report templates, you must have the Standard or Enterprise Edition of Rational Team Concert and a Developer client access license.

To open the All Projects page, click Change and Configuration Management > All Projects. To view the JKE Banking dashboard, click Explore Dashboard.
Scroll to the bottom of the JKE Banking dashboard and click a team’s dashboard to view it.
By default, you see only your Personal Dashboard until other user share their dashboards.
For personal dashboards to be visible to others, the dashboards must be explicitly shared by their users. On the All Personal Dashboards page, you can view other team members' personal dashboards that have been shared.
