High tenacity cellulosic fibers can be produced via ionic liquid processing. Researchers at Aalto University have been exploring this technique as an alternative to the conventional Lyocell (NMMO) process which has some limitations. In their work, they have:
1) Successfully dissolved and spun cellulosic fibers from various ionic liquids such as ILHU, showing superior spinning properties compared to NMMO and other ionic liquids tested.
2) Produced fibers from ILHU with tensile strengths up to 50 cN/tex, outperforming commercial viscose and modal fibers.
3) Continued research aims to further optimize the ionic liquids used and fiber properties through modification techniques, with

Sustainable Approach Of Recycling Palm Oil Mill Effluent Using Integrated Bio...SAJJAD KHUDHUR ABBAS
In Malaysia, oil palm is a very significant crop. In the worldwide, the biggest palm oil exporter and producer is Indonesia and Malaysia is the 2nd exporter and producer. the production of crude palm oil (CPO) was increased significantly from 92,000 tonnes in year 1960 to 17.6 million tonnes in year 2009, The process to extract the palm oil needs massive and huge water quantity to sterilize the fresh fruit bunches (FFB) and clarify the extracted oil.

Addition of nanosized inorganic materials in a polymeric matrix results to nanohybrids with optimized properties with respect to the initial components. On the other hand, the behavior of polymers when they are restricted in space or when they are close to surfaces can be very different from that in the bulk.
In this work, we modify the crystallinity of nanohybrids composed of poly(ethylene oxide) and two kinds of silica nanoparticles of different sizes in an attempt to bridge the case of severely confined polymers within the galleries of layered silicates with that of Polymer/single-nanoparticle hybrids. The two kinds of nanoparticles vary by an order of magnitude in radius as verified by Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS). Hybrids with different ratio between the two silica nanoparticles were prepared in order to achieve the highest confinement. The good dispersion of the nanoparticles was verified by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), whereas the morphology and crystallization behavior of the hybrids were investigated with X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Polarised Optical Microscopy (POM). Polymer crystallinity in single nanoparticle hybrids decrease with increasing silica content whereas the behaviour in the three component systems is found indeed intermediate between the cases of PEO/Na+-MMT and PEO/SiO2 and can be tuned by varying the ratio of the large vs small nanoparticles.

Cultivating and maintaining discipline within teams is a critical differentiator for successful organisations.
Forward-thinking leaders and business managers understand the impact that discipline has on organisational success. A disciplined workforce operates with clarity, focus, and a shared understanding of expectations, ultimately driving better results, optimising productivity, and facilitating seamless collaboration.
Although discipline is not a one-size-fits-all approach, it can help create a work environment that encourages personal growth and accountability rather than solely relying on punitive measures.
In this deck, you will learn the significance of workplace discipline for organisational success. You’ll also learn
• Four (4) workplace discipline methods you should consider
• The best and most practical approach to implementing workplace discipline.
• Three (3) key tips to maintain a disciplined workplace.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.
