I. Abstract
The purpose of this water experiment is to compare two sources of waters and see if they would affect
the growth of beans. For the purpose of this test, multiple samples were implemented to gather results
with as much accuracy as possible. Every two days a study of our beans was conducted. Measuring
the growth/length of each bean. 40 samples were used. The team hypothesized that the water from
Foster Lake would grow plants faster than the water from Kanakadea Creek due to the bio diverse
nature of the lake and its inhabitants. The results gathered show a surprising find in this study.
II. Introduction
Water is the most natural thing we have on earth. It sustains many organisms and those organisms
depend on it almost daily. Plants are such organisms. For this study the focus is the growth of beans.
Over the course of two weeks my team and I conducted research comparing the two types of waters
that were selected and seeing if they had any significant differences in growing beans. The first week
was inconclusive due to bean rot and negligence. Test two led to a more constant observation of
growth and change of location. Results gathered from this experiment have shown a difference that
different waters may have on the growth of plants. Beans that consumed certain water sources

The Dangers Of Self Esteem
In today s society, I believe that there are many possible hazards if we focus too much on heightening
the self esteem of children. One example is that children with very high self esteem could have a lack
of motivation in regards to academic assignments and exams. They may not feel the need to study or
put in the work to try their best due to the fact that they have the mentality of I m so smart, so I don t
need to study. Another example is that high self esteem could lead children to losing respect towards
authority. When children become too arrogant, they develop this know it all attitude. They feel that
they are better than the authority figure and there is no reason to respect them. All in all, too much
focus on heightening self esteem can cause children to lack high goals and expectations and influence
them to disrespect authority figures. Instead, we should focus on developing a secure self esteem in
which children feel comfortable and happy about themselves. We should teach children the idea that
not everyone is perfect and that they should accept their flaws. When children realize that they are not
perfect and can still make improvement, they can set goals for themselves and establish determination
to get better.

The issues with subprime loans and their uses in the economy can be read from the various economic
theorists, each coming at it with vastly different perspectives. The tricky thing with analyzing these
loans and applying them to the economy as a whole lies with connected the movements of the debt

Ecological Economics vs Neoclassicial Welfare Economics
In the past, economic school of thought regarded the resources as unlimited and focused on more
production under the light of the unlimited growth assumption. Every economic action was suggested
to only consider about making more profit. While the economy and the human population are
growing; more natural resources are used and more pollution is observed. Human become to deal with
the results of its production such as enviromental problems and resource scarcity. A debate has
emerged in economics and the mainstream economics is brought into question since its unlimited
growth assumption is collapsed. Ecological economists argues the neoclassical welfare economics for
ignoring the enviromental and ethic values by only focusing on the cost benefit analysis. It also claims

stem cells before exploring their uses and impacts Stem cells possess unique properties that make
them different from all other cells in the body. Most cells do not have the ability to replicate where
stem cells have the potential to multiply indefinitely. Before they have a specific function in the body,
stem cells are essentially blank slates. There are two basic types of stem cells, which have different

Researchers successfully attained embryonic stem cells from the embryos of mice in 1981, which led
