Background
 The importance of evaluation in learning
requires teachers to know the purpose, benefits
and assessment functions to be performed on
students in school. A teacher who does not
know the purpose, benefits, and assessment
functions will be lost because the guidelines for
the assessment will be carried out at will
without any clear purpose. Based on the brief
review above, this paper will discuss the
assessment objectives, benefits assessment,
and assessment functions in learning activities
formulation of the problem

The First Problem
RI Lowest in PISA, WNA: Indonesian Kids Do not
Know How Stupid They Are.
 Programmme for International Student Assessment
(PISA) under the Organization of Economic
Cooperation and Development (OECD) in 2012 and
issued a survey that Indonesia was ranked bottom
of 65 countries, the mapping ability of mathematics,
reading and science. A foreign citizen who lived in
Indonesia, responded to the survey by writing an
article on his blog titled "Indonesian kids do not
know how stupid they are". Elizabeth Pisani, an
American-born foreign national, epidemiological,
and former journalist who wrote the article.

Solution
The solution to this problem is:
 a. Changes in valuation purposes in
Indonesia
 b. Trying to follow the curriculum in countries
such as the quality of education is very high
in Finland
 c. Training of teachers as a whole and not in
part.
 d. Selecting teachers who will enter the
school so that only qualified to go to school
and educate the students.
The Second Problem
 One of the teachers of arts and culture in
SMK in Bogor doing violence to 6 students
by way of punching and kicking is because 6
students of class X are found not to work on
the assigned task of the teacher.

Solution
The suggested solution to this problem is:
 a. Teachers should not commit violence
against students on the grounds of value.
 b. Assessment is done to the student teacher
should be done early in the process of
learning that is never too late when the input
value for the report card.
 c. Judging can be done without violence so
that the teacher must be proficient in
controlling emotions.
The Third Problem
 Teachers at SMK in Ngawi, doing dozens of
sexual harassment against students by using
values ​​as the reason and the threat that the
girls want to do things that are required by
the teacher.

Solution
The suggested solution to this problem is:
 Teachers should not use the value as a threat to
the students to do things that are not justified
 Empowerment of counseling teacher
 School or child protection agencies should
provide counseling and approaches to the
treatment of students to report any teacher who
is not good for them and that deviated from the
purpose of education.
 Students are given protection if the report of his
actions or that teacher of sexual harassment.
