The tropical rainforest climate is very humid due to high rainfall of about 250cm annually. The forests are located near the equator where the water cycle is constant. Plants have adaptations like buttresses, fungus, and strangler figs. Animals include toucans, sloths, fruit bats, jaguars, tigers, and vipers. Species have adaptations like toucans' large beaks and snakes' pupils. Humans have negatively impacted forests through poaching and deforestation, endangering over 100 species daily.
