A Dutch couple have become the first inhabitants of a fully 3D-printed house in Europe. The two-bedroom property was printed layer by layer using a special cement that is squirted through a nozzle. It took 120 hours total to print the load-bearing walls of the house. The 3D-printing method is seen as a way to reduce costs and environmental impacts compared to traditional construction. The company hopes to eventually print entire houses on-site in just five days.
