This document provides instructions for a draft section of a final project on international agencies and law. Students are asked to summarize the location and role of law enforcement agencies involved in their case, address questions about laws regarding violations in the country where the person of interest resided and how these laws aided the investigation, potential political factors influencing the crime, and the ability of agencies to mitigate such crimes. They are also asked to describe how each agency aided or had limitations in the investigation, whether US law applied, the extent of reciprocity between US and foreign laws, cooperation between US and international agencies both currently and historically, and how the US generally aids foreign organizations in apprehending criminals and why international coordination is necessary.
