Administration has strongly supported Indian water rights settlements and the water needs of tribal
communities. Indian water rights settlements are consistent with the federal trust responsibility to
tribes and with federal policy promoting Indian self determination and economic self sufficiency. As
I have witnessed here first hand, settlements can end decades of controversy and contention
concerning water issues among tribes and neighboring communities replacing those conflicts with
certainty, fostering cooperation in water resource management and promoting healthy economies.

Having lately read a great deal of professional literature regarding the ups and downs of teaching
college composition to ESL students, I ve noticed that students with LDs are conspicuously absent a
fact that suggests one or more possible conclusions: Students with LDs just aren t represented in
college level ESL courses; Students with LDs are there but they don t have needs separate from
those of non LD students that would require special consideration by college teachers; These
students are there and have needs requiring special attention by their teachers, but the teachers
themselves lack understanding of what those needs are and how to accommodate them.
Which of these holds most true, in general, is what I ve set out to discover, in hopes that I will
find a hidden font of knowledge addressing the singular needs of ESL students with LDs and how
teachers do, or can, meet those needs. The possibility that my first reason mentioned above might
be true leads to a political can of worms I d prefer to leave unopened; therefore, I ll concentrate on
the third choice that LD students who are also learning English as a second or other language are

met and made a decision that would change the faith of western Religion. In Milan, a city in
northern Italy, they agreed on a statement that was later published as a letter and became known as
the Edict of Milan. This letter was the turning point for Christianity and a key event for its rise to

I believe that AARP is one of the leading organizations for people fifty and over today and known
worldwide. The initial process that brought this powerful group forward was the idea of
Dr.Ethyl Percy. Dr. Percy is an important figure for retired teachers in the 1940 s (International
Directory of Company Histories, 2009). Dr. Percy, is reflected as being the main female in
