There are six fundamental movements of major body segments. They all range in movement to utilize

First there is Flexion, which is a decrease of angles between body parts. One primary example of this

Before me loomed the old observatory which would be our home for the next year. Its walls were an

tower. It sat atop Henrick Cliff with large fields sloping down from the front of the house. The tower
could be seen rising from the back of the house, with the cliffs edge and sea beyond that. The

Virginia Woolf s Mrs. Dalloway is a piece of literature that helped to push forward a culture of writing
that she felt was otherwise stuck. Along with a style that transcended how people thought about telling
a story, was the commentary. The story is riddled with commentary on politics, society, war, class, and
the medical system. Virginia Woolf lets her worldviews bleed into her writing in a way that is
somehow both subtle and also still direct. She lets the characters have their own experiences and
dialogue, which show her views from different perspectives and without just coming out and saying it.
The commentary that this is most evident in is Woolf s commentary on doctors and the medical
system as a whole. Throughout Mrs. Dalloway, Virginia Woolf shows the incompetence of doctors and
the medical system through Clarissa and Septimus s interactions with them.
As the novel unfolds you begin to see more of the commentary on the medical system leak into the
story. When the novel begins, Clarissa is leaving to go out for a walk around the town. Clarissa hasn t
been able to get out as much as she has liked because she has struggled with her own illnesses that
have kept her presumably somewhat bed ridden. Although Clarissa s interactions with the doctors in
this story are not necessarily direct, it is made known that she has at least some distain for the time in

The end of October and beginning of November two very different yet also seemingly similar
celebrations take place. Halloween (or All Hallows Eve) is celebrated on October 31 in several
countries including the USA. It has its roots in pagan celebrations for the end of the harvest season,
various festivals of the dead, and the Celtic Samhain festival. Day of the Dead (or Dia de los Muertos)
is a Mexican holiday, which is also celebrated in parts of Latin America and in the U.S., to remember
and pray for family and friends who have died. It takes place on November 1. Neither of these
holidays are religious in nature, but each holds their own unique set of symbols and traditions some of
which go back hundreds of years. Both of these holidays are in place to bring the living closer to the
dead and to connect the two realms.
The origin of Dia De Los Muertos can be traced back to indigenous cultures in Mexico dating back
2,500 to 3,000 years. These cultures would hold annual rituals lasting one full month and would be
purposed to celebrate, not mourn the dead. Though the reason for celebration is the same, the length is
not. Instead of celebrating for a full month, today the celebration only lasts for a few days. During
these few days families take the time to remember the deceased. The atmosphere is not somber
however; it resembles more of a picnic or celebration. People visit the graves of the deceased at their

see how not all forms of love are pure. The nature of love is a prominent theme in Till We Have Faces.
All of the relationships in this book are unique there are no two alike. In every relationship, there is a
love factor. Unfortunately, in English, there are no words to distinguish different types of the love
being felt. A person can love creatures, reading, and family members, but those are all entirely
separate interpretations of the word love. In the book, The Four Loves, Lewis dissects the different
forms of love. There are many connections to be made between characters throughout Till We Have
Faces and the four different types of love: Storge, Philia, Eros, and Agape. Each of the four loves
plays a part in the plot of the story.
The first of these loves is storge. Storge, Greek for affection, is the love in which physical features do
not have importance. An example would be a love for a family member or close friend (Four Loves 31
32). In Till We Have Faces, Orual the narrator and heroine of the novel receives love from her younger
sister, Psyche. The Fox, a Greek slave and father figure, also loves Orual even though she frightens

Throughout the play, Pygmalion, by George Bernard Shaw, many of the characters represent different
social class structures. They also resemble how the higher class citizens feel threatened by the lower
class citizens. Protagonist Eliza Doolittle, Henry Higgins, and Mrs. Pearce are prime examples of
characters who portray different roles in the Victorian social structure. This play takes place during the
Victorian period in England where the upper , middle, and lower class were at different stages. This
