In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and
                   conventions of real media products?
                     THE FRONT COVER-SIMILARITIES

Use of a mast head covering
                       the top of models head

                       House Style, keeping the
                       font colours the same as
                            the mast head

                      Cover lines laid out around
                         the models to bring
                          attention to them.
Both have a Mid Shot of a
                      model showing head and
                             shoulders.

                   conventions of real media products?
                     THE FRONT COVER-DIFFERENCES

                          Flasher used in my
                         magazine to grab the
                          readers attention

Use of a banner at the
                      bottom keeping the House
                      Style of the magazine and
                      adding an extra cover line
                      focusing on the magazine
                              as a whole

                      Cover lines which appeal to
                       both genders, giving the
                       magazine a larger target
                               audience.

                        positioned at the top of
                               the page.

                          Initial listing of the
                            contents of the
                        magazine, positioned in
                                columns

                        Continuous House Style
                         following on from the

                        My magazine features
                       an editors note in order

                        Featuring of more than
                         one secondary image,
                        shows the difference in
                          genres between the
                        conventional magazine
                         and college magazine,

                                  this product

• Through the use of the
