2021, Suggestions for Improvement
Region 1 consists of four provinces and eight cities,
namely: the province of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La
Union and Pangasinan; and the cities of Dagupan,
San Carlos, Alaminos and Urdaneta in Pangasinan;
Laoag in Ilocos Norte, Vigan and Candon in Ilocos
Sur; San Fernando in La Union. The City of San
Fernando is the center of the region.

1. Constant follow up communication to
officers and personnels of each cooperative
2. Visibility of CDA Personnel in the area.
3. Having a specific schedules of reporting to office
and visitations to areas/municipalities
4. Creation of communication groups (messenger group chats
and text groups)
5. Immediate responses to queries and requests (if solutions
cannot be found or ready answer can not be given, a timeline
to answer is given) (Good Client Care)
6. Emailed/sent thru messenger all the CDA Report forms to all
cooperatives.
7. Rendering assistance in the following: how to organize a
new coop, how to accomplish/submit online mandatory
reports, how to amend ACBL, how to apply/renew CTE, etc.
8. Provided thru email/messenger all the CDA Report forms to
all cooperatives.
9. Reported to the CDA Pangasinan Field Office to assist coops
in encoding CAPR, AFS and in accomplishing the reports esp.
PAR (new report) and render services upon the request of
coops.
10. Constant reminders, follow-ups and advisories to
cooperatives thru text, call, email, messenger, Group Chat
(Ilocos Norte Coops).
11. Invited cooperatives to attend the Koop Balitaan
and other webinars.
12. Provided continuous Technical Assistance
(mentoring, coaching, etc.) to micro/small/medium
/large cooperatives in the preparation of mandatory
reports, amendment of ACBL, conduct of trainings and other
technical assistance needed by the cooperatives.
13. Answered queries regarding some issues and concerns in the
management and governance of cooperatives.
14. Assisted and Endorsed (by Director) cooperatives in their request
for assistance/interventions to the Provincial Government of Ilocos
Norte and Department of Agriculture (various interventions received
by the cooperatives such as machineries and financial assistance)
15. Assisted groups in the preparation of registration documents.
16. Conducted Pre-Registration Seminars Face to Face since no
internet connectivity in the area of the proposed co-op observing
the health protocols.
17. Assisted in enrolment/registration of cooperatives to CBMIS and
monitoring their transactions
18. Monitoring of Koop Kapatid Program
19. Identifying the needs of the cooperatives to know what
assistance to render
20. Visit LGUs (each municipality) or establish communication lines
with personnel or officers of LGUs and discuss collaboration between
CDA and LGU. Establish and maintain contacts (list).
