The "Where's Daryl?" educational program was created by Designmatters at Art Center College of Design to curb gun violence among Los Angeles youth. It features fictional character Daryl whose life is disrupted after getting involved with guns. The program provides 8 lesson plans that use stories and discussions to encourage students to reflect on Daryl's choices and how to prevent gun involvement. It was piloted in 10 LA schools, reaching over 1,000 middle school students.
