The genre of this product is murder mystery,
which is the exact style of crime story I would like
to make. The soundtrack included in this product
is slow and calm to start with as if it’s building up
to something important later. The voice over like
the narration is short but has some insight but
doesn’t give anything away until other characters
speak. There are some key sound effects in this
game to help you decipher a clue like a high
chime in the background. The language used by
the main lead is very formal and very technical,
they would follow procedure as to not let any
information get out. The time frame for a whole
case goes around 30 – 50 minutes, that includes
the introduction, the crime scene, some conflict,
interrogations and case closes. This product
appeals to a certain group of people that like
Noire, men and women age of 30 – 65, the older
generation like the Noire style while the younger
generation will like the gaming aspect.

Sherlock Holmes Chapter One - 100% Let's Play Part 1 [PS5] - YouTube
This product’s genre is also murder mystery,
I would also like to get the same style and
atmosphere like Sherlock Holmes. The
sound track for this is slow and calm while
trying to establish it’s characters. The voice
over for the characters are informal, their
attitudes are humorous while also serious
whether in a crime or not. There are some
good sound effects used in the game, like
when ever something is spotted the music
pitch will either stay low or sudden turn up
to a higher pitch. The structure of the game
is labelled in chapters from the
introduction, conflict, investigation, climax
and ending? The duration of each chapter is
2 hours and 30 minutes. This kind of
product while attract a certain audience
that have a fondness for Sherlock Holmes,
from people of an older – 65+ and younger
generation – 20+, whether they watch his
adventures or play the games.

Batman: The Telltale Series – Telltale Games
Batman: The Telltale Series - Episode 1 - Realm of Shadows (Full Episode) - YouTube
The product genre is action, adventure and mystery,
I would like to incorporate some small bits of action.
The soundtrack is very action pack whenever there's
action or a fight scene, but when there’s a normal
scene the music can become both calm and
collected. Some sound effects can leave a good
impact like when you in a conversation and discover
some important information the music would
change to match the mood whether it’s calm, happy
or tense. The voice overs for the characters whether
hero or villain are both formal in their roles, like
Bruce Wayne, he is one person but has 2 persona of
millionaire and Batman. The structure of the game
goes in episodes where they include, introduction,
conflict, conversation, investigation, conflict and
ending? The duration of each episode is worth 1
hour and 30 minutes. The audience that would be
play it would both like superheroes and decision
making, like ages 11 – 30.
5. Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched products
have?
– The products have the same genre of mystery.
– All product duration last a long time, because of all the parts they go
through like, introduction, conflict, investigation, climax and ending.
• What aspects of the research will you include within your
on work?
– I will use the same kind of music to describe some calm, tense or
mysterious moments.
– The voice lines for my characters will be formal, to make sound like real
detectives looking to solving a crime.
– The age range will be suited to a more mature audience because of the
grim and gritty subjects it tackles.
– I am considering use special sound effects for specific actions like,
running, walking, chimes, gunfire and writing notes.

For the primary audience, they can handle the topics that a crime

also try to figure out who done it.
While the secondary audience will get sucked in to the story of who
did the crime and how the detectives with solve this.
Gender
Primary – Women
Secondary - Men
I looked online and found out that approximately 65% of people who
read or listen to noire are female because Brutally detailed crime
stories appeal to female readers both for the real anxieties they tap
into, and for their metaphorical resonances. For the 35% of males
that watch or listens to noire they like puzzles and plot twists, clever
surprises that they didn't guess at, as well as guessing where the plot
is going before our crime-solvers. Things such as the puzzles and twist
are what I will be adding to my crime story to keep both genders
happy. - What are the key demographics for mystery/crime novels? -
