Existing Product
Image is 3rd person perspective
meaning you can see your own
character and the surroundings
better.
A small colourful
character you get
too play as.
A glowing booster that helps
the character run away and
avoid obstacles.
The train is an example
of an obstacle , it goes
towards the player and
the player must avoid it.
Existing Product
This is temple run , a game
similar too mine in that you
must run away from something,
collect coins and avoid
obstacles.
The main character you
play as yet again in 3rd
person.
The coins have been made so
they can only be aquired if
they jump meaning the game
will be more than a just run in
a straight line game!
Added scenery too
stop the game
looking boring and
dull.
Obstacles too
jump/dash across.
Existing Product
This is jetpack joyride , this is
similar too my product
because it’s an endless run
game in which you must
avoid enemies and dodge
obstacles.
The main avoidable
object is a rocket
Coin and distance tracking so
the player can see how well
they’re doing.
Long trail of smoke so the
player can easily see the
objects coming.
Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched
products have? – A common feature between all of my
researched products is that they involve a main character (the
player) trying to gain a max score while out running some kind
of antagonist or anything trying to stop them from getting a
high score.
What aspects of the research will you include
within your work?- I will include the coin grabbing and
running aspect . I will also include a variety of obstacles and
things too keep the game exciting.
