Super Mario Bros
The original super Mario bros is a
game that is similar to my final
idea as its about Mario running
while avoiding obstacles and
collecting coinsand it gives us a
side angle which is also what I’m
looking for
The use of lighting and colours is
Very bright and lively which is also what
I’m looking for
The use of colour to add
details Is also really good
E.g: Black for the shadow
The location is set outside above
the trees close to the sky
Geometry Dash
Geometry dash is also a game where the
Character avoids obstacles but this time
The character is a square and the game is
just based on shapes which is a bit easier than
actually creating a character or making the
character move.
The way the side angle has been used hepls
us see when the obstacles are coming which is
also what I’m looking for for my final video
The use of colour is really bright
But dark at the same time this
Makes the game a bit more realistic
And detailed
Subway Surfers
Subway surfers is a game where the character runs
away from the police for spray painting the trains
while collecting coins. Once again this game has
elemets that I would like to add to my final video
game.
The location is set in a town with trains instead of
cars and the use of colours makes the surrounding
more realistic.
The the creator changes the themes every
Season which makes the game even more intertaining
The way the character is dressed is almost the same way
teenagers would dress. Which could be part of the reason why
People like playing
this game.
On top of that the
outfit is suitable for
running
Subway surfers
is a front angle
game
Lep’s world
This game is similar to Super Mario
Bros as it’s also a character running
To try and catch coins while
Avoiding obstacles.
This is also a side angle game that
changes location on every game. It
could be located in the dessert or just
between green grass and hills
To play the game you have got to use the
arrows provided as they are there to
move your character forwards or
backwards. This way of playing the game
is something that I though was quite
intresting
as for the costume, the character is dressed
As an Elf

• What common features do the researched products have?
• They all have something to do with running or avoiding
obstacles as it is what I am looking for. All of them also have
really bright colours which attract the audience even more
• What aspects of the research will you include within your
on work?
• In my own work I am going to include a variety of colours to
make the game less dull
and the side angle as it is also soething that I though was
quite good
