 The process of planning, designing and
implementing computer system is called project.
It is directed by a project manager
who uses
available resources to produce systems.

To plan, coordinate and control the project teams;
Project Manager should have following qualities.

 Ability to communicate and influence people
 Planning for minimizing the risk
 Understanding technical problems and design
details
 Understanding the motivations & interests of team
members and ability to implement & improve job
satisfaction.

 Gantt Chart : It shows the duration of actions or
tasks.
 PERT (Program Evaluation & Review
Technique) : It shows the interrelationships of
project activities.

It provides graphic network diagrams for a clear
display. For ex. MS-Project.

integrated repository for

and telecommunication.
To function properly, it must connect to one or
more communication networks.
